    Over 700 people, very unusual. Had to log in to see the forums, usually I don't while I'm at work. Anyone got an idea? It's only Tuesday.

    People sign on to BG to get the scoop whenever a big update hits POL's main page... Everbody needs to know the serious ramifications of the Besieged update!!!

    All I know is if you are going to MPK or otherwise do shit that would net you a GM call, tomorrow is a good time to do so.

    The speeds are fine (which is odd being that there are almost 750+ people viewing the site)...

    A. There real people who are linking from ZAM/KI ect
    B. There bots attempting to shutdown BG (If that means anything at all)...
    C. During the move from the old BG the admin found better hosting?
    D. The forums broken. DX

    I just noticed that too, was wondering what the hell was going on in the Besieged thread (as well as others).

    I'm posting based on my local time. So if I post at 4:00 on a board and someone else posts from CA, It'll be listed by local times.

    When I viewed the site as a Guest all I could see was two forums so I logged on and saw the rest of them. I imagined that's why everyone else is logged on.

    It could be spiders/bots from random search engines. This is normal, but utilizes heavy system usage. Heavy system usage causes the MySQL server to not work at maximum performance thus creating forum errors.

    Search bots in general aren't harmful, except posting and forum usage kinda degrades while a bot is indexing a website/forum.

    btw, some1 asked if site moved to a new host. Its hosted on the same datacenter as theorderls.com which is The Planet.

    This site needs a dedicated server. With google adsense revenue, I am sure the administrator can handle a dedicated box with that.
