Forum wierdities.

We arent really sure what happened, but apparantly the forums went forward in time, safety wasnt guaranteed and they forgot the weapons. So when they came back, things were a little messed up, give it about a day and if you have issues, itll fix it. Otherwise let us know and we will do what we can to figure it out further.

we are going to be deleting the offending posts, just in case. Youll lose some, sorry.

It used to be that none of the topics would change from unread, now everything is automatically read before I even get here <_<

We literally just finished removing the bad posts, no one as far as I've seen has really made any new posts after that. Your post is the second newest one since we fixed the forums. Chances are if you logged on earlier, the actual threads that were on the correct time were marked. However, if it keeps happening where you aren't seeing markers for new posts, let us know since it's something else we will have to figure out how to fix.

What's woerd, and may be related, is that everyone seems to be constantly browsing this forum. When I logged on just after the wierdness started, I instantly started looking for the POL announcement discussion thread

Everyone that it shows listed, isn't actually on the forums. Some are. but some are just stuck on a list for whatever the reason is. We are hoping by tomorrow it will start to fade off.

KS99 - Straight Tanked thread is messed up for me. When I read that thread it keeps showing Jehryn's reply on page 3 as the last post made. But, I can see other people are posting in it. Other threads were like that earlier, but they all seem to be fixed. Maybe it'll eventually fix itself, I dunno.

Possibly fixed, it's 1am here and I need to be up at 6:30. Most of the stuff should be fixed by tomorrow, we are hoping to see a decrease in the user list too. If the fix I did, didn't work on the KS99 thread and doesn't fix by tomorrow I'll try again when I get home from school.

Crafting Central, Dynamis, and Screenshot forums are all still inaccessable when not logged in, but available when logged in. Don't know if this is an intentional change that happened to coincide with yesterday's forum bug, or a problem others aren't experiencing, but I haven't seen it mentioned since the other problem got fixed.

Those sections are only available if you are a registered member of our forums. Simple as that. It's a privilege given to those who register, as is forum access during maintenance days. :wink:
