Yeah, that's right. Wyrm Armet increases breath damage/heal from 1/5th Wyvern's Max HP to 1/3rd Wyvern Max HP. Exact numbers on unresist.Originally Posted by Vail
+1, as always, doesn't increase the effect at all from NQ. *bummer*

not to open up a particularly dead conversation, but it came up a bit ago in ls.
I was always under the impression that "Souleater Effects" Equipment pieces, were not stackable. That's to mean that equiping the Sable Cuisses, The Gloom Breastplate, and the Chaos helm, would all give that additional accuracy enhancement, as well as 2%
Now i always was told that it caps at 12% no more, no less, and that it isn't stackable. (This is through my own testing as well, same 10% HP is taken of course, and i've seen nothing Damage enhancement wise (especially 2% or so, seeing how that extra 4% or more, would translate into almost 50 extra damage or more for me.)
Would like perhaps a bit more insite, if i'm wrong, i'll gladly accept it for my damage, but i don't think i am.
maybe someone could post a link or something >.> or pm me the answer
/sigh. If i was the one who made that i wouldn't have made that error! lol. Buddy of mine Naqi made it on the linux that he put on my ps2, i don't know how to change it..
but no derail; ; anyone actually know? or i take that as a no.
It doesn't stack, wearing any one of those "Enhance Souleater" pieces will give the same effect as wearing all of them. Souleater can only be enhanced once, they patched it so it works that way a pretty long time ago.
Without any enhancement, Souleater drains 10% of your HP and adds that 10% to your damage. With the enhancment, Souleater drains 12% of your HP and adds that 12% to your damage. An easy way to tell is if you hit a mob with Souleater active at full HP, it'll take away 12% of your HP as shown by windower or typing out <hpp>.
Ah I knew I was right. Thank you rukenshin.
In my experience:
Beast Gaiters seem to do +40 HP to Reward.
Beast Jackcoat adds all -na spells to Reward.
For what a BST friend tells me,
Monster Gaiters seem to do +80 HP to Reward.
Monster Jackcoat adds Erase to Reward.
So there's no difference between the Enhances Souleater on AF and AF+1 helm?
I thought that was the reason to upgrade it...
STR+7?

Well, I can get a heca cap np. I guess to have 3 more str on SEWS? Kinda unnecessary but e-peen > all.
EDIT: wait, I'm recalling something about possibly more SE accuracy with the +1 helm?
See the xxx vs yyy thread on top. Its apparently +5 acc over normal AF helm.Originally Posted by Beckwin
if you use heca cap then you can't get souleater bonus <_<
But the DEX on the hat makes up for the loss of ACC on the SE.
Wow, this is really odd timing, I was going to make a new thread about souleater items. A friend of mine recently got Sable Cuisses and according to the dmg numbers he sent me, he was getting 10% HP w/ none, 12% w/ 1, 14% w/ 2 and 16% w/ all 3. (This was done with crits on W Ron rabbits) Wasn't planning on posting anything before I could get him to send me screenshots, or "proof" as you people like to call it, but I don't know why he'd make it up.
He could have just gotten it wrong. I have gloom breastplate and I'm 99% sure it didnt add anything more.Originally Posted by Bagel
I'm still slightly skeptical, it'd be awfully unSE-like to stealth unnerf something.
