That's because hes a taru, and no one can rip on the taru because they have an added effect: AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Additionally, unless you SS the guy while he's tanking, there's no point in critiquing his gears. I like walking around town in full AF2, that doesn't mean I'm going to hnm in them. When I change from Brd->Blm for warp from AH to MH, I end up with some brd gears on, so what?

Hmm, ever tanked anything that doesn't cast magic? For that matter, what about tanking something that casts magic and when you see "XXX is casting Firaga 3 on you" you switch out the jelly and put something else on. Do you honestly think he only has 1 set of rings?

Both Nid and Faf do way more physical damage than they do magic damage. Hurricane wing is like 350? Thats nothing. I would bet that guy is /war and in that case the -5% physical would provide much more damage reduction over time even with the +5% magical. Not my first choice but definitely not LOL

With shell5 he's probably capped on -magic, you might as well give up a few % for some physical reduction%.
