I don't keep gear from other jobs in my inventory when I change to any job (unless I use it on that job). Only gear in my inventory at any given time is all gear I use for that job. Between inventory/mog house/locker I keep all the gear I use for my 6 jobs with ~30 spaces extra, so I don't really need to keep stuff I don't use for some situations in my inventory at all times.

I keep DRK, PLD (sans resist), and generic WAR gear on me at all times (- dusk feet). I can keep my character's gear between my inventory safe and locker, shit I don't use obviously goes into storage.

I'm the mog fixer-upper for many people in my LS for that reason! I've done it on around ten different occasions between five or six people now. There is always always room for something to be tossed/muled/shoved into storage that isn't used often (if at all), and every space matters.

I really like my layout as well, I think it works best in general for changing jobs fast and having all the gear needed easy to access. My mog safe is 100% all equipment I use (minus the furniture of course), my locker is like 90% equipment with some slots dedicated to food/tools/medicine.. Anything else is put into storage or muled. The stuff in storage/that is muled is usually extremely situation stuff (or rare/ex stuff I can't mule) that I don't use more than once every few weeks or so (like kraken DRK HP gear). And I just keep that gear in the recieving box on my mule, so it's easy to just hit return to send it back.

But yeah, I don't have anything other than gear I use with some food/medicine/tools in my inventory between mog/locker/inventory. But that's probably harder for people that craft often and need spots for synthesis materials, or people carrying other misc. rare/ex items.

Salvage is killing my inventory now though. I think I have around ten to fifteen spaces taken up by random 15s, 25s, and 35s. Running out of storage space too. -.-

I keep a bunch of stuff on me full time regardless of the job I'm playing. Silent Oils,Prisms,Shihei + Toolbag,Rajas,Sniper's,PCC,Flower, etc... I prob have like 25 items that just always stay there. I can easily switch from DRK, RNG, NIN, and WAR using what's in my /bank. I keep situational gear in Locker (DRK HP, NIN Eva/Fire Resist) and also a full set of SMN gear. I can easily swap to whats needed without any hassle.

Ironicalli, I keep E Body/Ridill in my inventory fulltime, but Apoc goes in /bank when I'm on another job.

i may have already mentioned this somewhere but one time ryuta on odin went to dragons aery as pld and left his aegis in mog safe, i doubt it was by intent but he was jp so i wasnt completely sure

Normally I have about 10 or so slots open depending on job, except for war. I usually keep war/drk gear in mog safe with furniture and rdm/thf/crafting items/sea organs/misc crafting items in locker and dyna money/af1 weapons and pop items in storage. I'll still have about 30 or so slots left in locker after that, so its kinda weird to me when i see peopl carrying around all that stuff.
