yeah you read that wrong, pretty much arthars ls owned kings till claim patch. then with botting and more level playing field na ls's were pretty much able to own kings since then.

i came into the endgame scene late, maybe 2 years ago. the ironic thing was w/e ls your in complains bout other shells botting but every ls botted at the time. the big botters would never admit to botting on a large scale but when finally found out they say "who cares everyone knows we bot, no big deal". just admit in first place imo if its no big deal.

back to anli, grats on relic, i would love to see some parses.

And every ls in da still bots now, there is no way that changed in the over a month i have been gone. =D

divisor's wiki isnt even close to accurate >.> of the relics i know of, only like half are on that list but i dont blame him, that'd be a bitch to update personally

i dont doubt that that person DOES have war levelled. i just dont see really any ls that would be likely to ever give a bst such things as e body, ridill, etc.

A lot of linkshells have lotting priorities based on attendance and dedication. For instance, Nystul was given an E. Body in TG, and as of that decision his only job that could wear it was 75 BST - but because he put in a lot of effort, and saw many other E. Bodies pass before him, he ended up getting his own.

Also, the person you're talking about is JP, and JP linkshells do odd things sometimes (free lot D. Ring, anyone?). Also, it's possible (though I don't claim to know the HNM situation on that server), that since he was in a JP LS, they had a monopoly on Nidhogg and he got his E. Body after a lot of WARs and DRKs.

But yeah - overall, it's definitely not that rare to see a BST in Adaman Hauberk. Ridills are a bit more rare, but hey, some linkshell have all the luck (Progeny, on Cerberus probably has somewhere between 25 and 30 Ridills to their linkshell, and I'm sure somewhere down the line they gave one to a THF, RNG, SAM or BST who didn't have WAR or DRK leveled).

aye my statement was a nub mistake, and assuming that anli had war levelled as well wasnt the best assumption to make (you know what they say.) im also a bit jaded when it comes to bst + end game. on a side note, ive never seen a bst on lakshmi with adaberk and/or ridill :\

The fact that you (in general) sub the same job, equip the same gear in the same slots, and use the same WSes says otherwise.

I'm a 75 BST and WAR, and frankly, I wish 2h wasn't shit so I could use GA and not be copying my BST by using Axes. BST gets access to Guttler and Temperance Axe, WAR doesnt. But WAR makes use of Maneater and juggy, discounting times than multi hit swords are available and valid. I'll feel like I'm copying my WAR on BST the day I use a GA while soloing.

P.S. I got my first Adaberk when my BST was 60 and WAR was 20. When I get a ridill, I will equip it on BST and afk in WG just to irritate people so bored that all they can do is worry about what other people are doing. And Ill get my friend who only has SAM 75 to unequip his completed relic GK and equip his ridill and afk beside me.

its quite amazing that you got an adaberk at that level, that would definitely be something nice to level into
and yea if i had a ridill/adaberk id do the same thing to annoy people.
im not one to bitch about it constantly, but i really cant wait for s-e to do an adjustment to bst that doesnt completely fucking suck. im still semi-content with the fact they havent broken the job with an 'adjustment'

yea i suppose i should have been a bit more specific. im talking about someone with bst as their only job. its not a big deal for a bst to have a ridill/adaberk if they also have war or drk levelled.

then again, its also hard to find people with bst as their only ridill/adaberk capable job that actually does end game.

There may be some, but they never get Ridills and Adaberks before all the WARs and DRKs in LS get them. Can't really blame LS leaders for that, since it's often just a matter of what is more usefull to a group versus what is more usefull to a player.

I never get that line of thinking. Why would you reward someone because their job is 'right' rather than on merit? If a bst attends 90% of Fafnir, and a war attends 50%, why should the war get ridill or Ebody before the bst? Makes absolutely no sense to me. It seems like the type of system that really pisses off dedicated members.

everyone who always /shout in aery etc saying my former LS bot and claim all HNM (before patch), while maybe they dont know JP latency + ps2 is the shit that time

after patch, it became fair and everyone who accuse us of botting, ARE ACTUALLY BANNED LOL

i dont mean 1 or 2, i mean 87126327132175 people being banned and 90% of them are people who accused us botting, and from what i hear from their LS mate is that, they are banned because they bot

funny eh, those people i used to play with is all still around

but not my problem now, HNM section in FFXI has ended for me long ago

got everything they dropped ^^ (cept for martial zzz pld lv 1, but i'll settle with ares)
