Any STR earring is gonna destroy Drones for Slug. Coronach, maybe not but I wouldn't doubt Triumphs where better.

Well, I asked him, and he said he's used STR earrings and he didn't see a difference that was worthwhile. He also said that he's been up against people who DO use STR earrings and he'd either beaten them or went about even on parse. So, /shrug. Not personally a RNG myself but that's what he said.

Well, I'm not sure if it's even a "set" at all, cos I told him I was taking a screenshot and he changed his gear for it. But if anything, it's definitely not WS, cos he uses haidate etc.

Dont have 6hit set up yet because i just got 75 and still need the store tp merits plus I'm almost done with Usukane Sune-Ate so just waiting on those 8)

Should be able to get a 2 hit setup with Amano (well 2 max, 4 w/o DAs).

Askar Body, Usu feet, Kaiten Store TP bonus, Store TP merits, and maybe hands, dont remember, brings you to 25tp a hit. 2 double attacks in a row = 2 attack round TP setup (at best).

Go get that askar or usu body and start owning.

Store TP doesn't work like that at all. With all the gear you mentioned including Hachiman +1 gloves and the Store TP effect from Kaiten, you'll get about 18.9 TP per hit.

The lowest build you can make on SAM without any outside effects is a 4 hit build (after WS), but you literally have to sacrifice nearly every single piece of gear and put it towards stacking Store TP. And in addition you have to have almost every single piece of Store TP in the game available to you. But you lose so much haste and acc/DEX from trying to make this build you end up getting TP slower in the long run anyway, making it not worth it at all.

And, you also have to WS in a good deal of the Store TP gear for it to work.

Even with the max Store TP in the game + food, the most you can get per swing of a relic GK is ~21 TP. Not including COR rolls obviously.

Aye, Neo's parroting what I've been blabbing on about since I got stage 4 (about 3-4 months ago).

Experimenting with Store TP with Kaiten in Dynamis, having a COR do Samurai Roll, I've gotten 24tp/swing on a roll of 11. I'm missing some vital Store TP gear (usu feet, askar body, usu body) that would get me to a 4-hit setup[1]. 4-hit being optimal since with Pole Strap, Brutal, Askar Body, and /war, you have a decent chance at 0-100 in 2 rounds. Of course, having a lucky COR in the pt is the most important thing, which is what Neo conveniently left out. He's funny that way.

[1] - EDIT: 4-hit setup with decent gear, not stacking store tp gear in slots that should go to haste/acc.

The decent chance of going from 0 to 100 TP in two rounds is actually a rather poor 3% (.17^2 = 2.89%) chance in a conventional SAM build. Which in reality is even less considering you'd have to 1) Land all five hits and 2) Not land the killing blow on any attack before the last. So probably best considered around a 2% chance.

I don't often have a COR in PT (much less a COR using SAM rolls) but even with them the highest I recall getting was ~21 TP/hit on top of my normal gear. Depending on COR rolls for a gear set/merit decision to work isn't something I'd be comfortable with though anyway.

But, regardless, you'd have to make some sort of sacrifices to either TP gear or WS gear (or both) to keep it at a four hit build. CORs aren't going to be rolling 11s often so you'll typically be at around 20 TP per hit or less (using the same Store TP for a 5 hit build), which is short of a 4 hit build since your TP after a WS will be ~16 to 19. So you'd need to trade off haste/acc/att/STR/etc in TP or WS gear (or both) for more Store TP to actually make it work reliably.

6 AGI can increase WSC by at most 2 (given you have some spare AGI somewhere so 0.8 can skew it down by exactly 1), 4 STR can increase fSTR2 by 2 in most cases, so no doubt Triumph would be better; not to mention that Drone Earring does nothing for single shot besides Ranged accuracy, of which any relic ranger should have capped by one mean or the other.

Of course he must have beaten other people using either! His weapon has 2nd highest base damage in gun ranking! :D

I wear Vision on my RNG at 75...fully merit'd. Although I suppose if you consistently have BRD support, Triumph is better. I usually just get Minuets if I play RNG, no Preludes~
