Bsts are weird like that, I can say this from my Sky shell, they prize Osodes over nearly any other body piece, and I don't think I've seen one who got Osode and didn't use it full time.

I haven't seen onslaught before- too bad the pic didn't capture the animation. I would consider osode charm gear only- but I guess that +20 from the relic helps to replace the lack from not wearing a hauby.

Melees who level Bst look at the gear selection and go "cool, I can use this and that and this still, nice."

Bsts who aren't used to trying to melee in a party just put on enough Acc to get a high hit %, and rarely worry about attack, since it just pulls more hate, and your WS only has to do enough to kill the mob (well, pre-update, different rules apply now) but I see a lot of Bsts who just wear Chr rings full time, Melody Earrings, and weird stuff like Hauberk+Settler's Cape+Ohat.
