Kikoku serves no purpose other than DD NIN and making life easier in low man situations and most instanced events, the whole point is to do more damage while still tanking effectively. Not having the best normal DD gear you can have is absolutely ridiculous for this, and any other DD relics.

Many people I see leveling NIN even as a 5th or 6th job have the common sense to shell out for Haub +1, it's the best NIN WS body, period.

No excuses.

And the "so many NQs" comment wasn't directed at him, lately the trend has gone from relic holders actually gearing themselves like they've earned the relic to people who sold everything that wasn't nailed to the floor in a desperate attempt to be OMG UBER.

The fact of it all is, if you do your best to gear yourself to the best of your jobs non-relic availability, in many situations (this Kikoku NIN being one of them) you will most likely be a better overall player than some gimp with a shiny fucking weapon.

Honestly, who is to say he didn't sell HQ Haub to get the last few coins towards upgrade, with the intent to buy it back later?

I know if I was 3 mil away from a Bravura and had to choose between farming up 3 mil nowadays, a lucky KS/BC streak, a payout from an NM/Sky/Dynamis/Etc, or liquidating some assets temporarily, I'd damn well deal with being NQ for a little while to get the thing finished.

If he's still got the NQ Haub in two months, then bitch at him.

And nothing, at all, has come full circle. If you're an idiot with a relic you're an idiot with a relic. There is no "Once upon a time I was an idiot with a relic, now I'm cool." So I don't know what that was supposed to mean.

And yeah, I can understand the NQ haub if he needed last 3 Bynes, shit happens, it's just his setup as a whole that leads me to infer that this is not the case. Either it's really just town gear, or that's his real gear and 10:1 that's a chivalrous chain, not a hope torque.

My gripe is that I've had the required 30 currency to register for my LS's funded relic system for a long while now, longer than most of the current and next sponsors, however I don't have a speed or velocious belt, as I am also doing Katana I feel it's a waste of EVERYONE'S god damn time if I'm upgrading a relic on LS time / money and I haven't already taken every step possible to make sure I'm ready for it.

Is it possible he funded it entirely himself? Yes. And if so this is me issuing a huge fucking apology, but the fact is it's very unlikely, in which case my point about this being ridiculous is still valid.
