Me too tanking mobs in meripo with hasso atm, no worries on the HP issit and no trouble telling the WHM to cure lesser.

It was said the relics would get buffed (to keep them as the best when the new relics come out) but I've never seen any mention of it being too soon and certainly not next patch. Most likely it's still a few patches down the road.

I suppose since you were there you'd know better than I, I got the second half of what you said from reports (probably from you lol) but I didn't hear it was next patch. If so, that's awesome.

I was in the interview with the dev team when was brought up.

Essentially, the dev team is aware that players who have relic weapons spent months, even years and no insignificant amount of resources to obtain them. When they (devs) introduce the new relic-ish weapons from Nyzul along with relic-ish weaponskills, they'll revisit the old relics and weaponskills to make sure they maintain their role as the 'pinnacle' weapons/WSes.

As far as timeframe, they mentioned during the dev panel (open to all fanfest participants) that the first update of the new year will bring a lot of new content including possibly the Nyzul relics.

Put two and two together.. and you have your "Relics may get buffed in January".

Of course, then again the AV defeated video was going to be up by Fanfest.. and we ribbed the dev team for that. Their response, "It would require everyone to participate, and not during work hours.. and (jokingly) we didn't want to pay everyone 8 hours of overtime!"

Well if he funds his relics by crafting, he does a very good job doing everything with mules because I don't remember seeing him selling any crafted item worth good gil under his name. I could of course be very wrong, but then I ask the question again, how exactly does he funds his relics, it it's with his crafts ?

a friend of mine farmed 3 years along with enm and etc to compelete his mandau.
