Dynamis NIN mobs cast San. I usually have filters up but I have definitely seen this in Dynamis-Winudurst multiple times.

I just did go try to Voracious Trunk a Puk's Zephyr Mantle actually lol even though I don't think you have BLU, but it's wind based so resisted and I don't have the shield nor a job that can equip it. Plus I'm mostly just interesting in figuring out how you did it anyway.

Only things that cast Utsusemi: San that I can think of are Gessho and Hundredfaced Hapool Ja, but it makes shadow clones, not shadow images.

It's not done with echo or anything. It's an actual failed cast of Ni.
