did you ever get around to gekko/yuki w/berserk or are you just we just settling on my hypothisis because too much time has already been put into it?

I was thinking about going back and doing it with min3+berserk, then min4+berserk to complete my proposed arc of attack, but lol at blowing another three hours on it.

I'm probably not going to be able to finish the test until at least this semester's classes are done. Barely even have time to log onto FF outside of LS events the last 1-2 weeks, and will basically be the same work load for the next week and a half. I'll do it eventually though, I still want to see what the results are.

Those two makeshift sigs are great though, lol.

I was messing around with the Kaiten idea, but I didn't even have photoshop until like 2 weeks ago, and haven't had the time to try to teach myself anything. Until then the little Utsesumi man will have to do, maybe I can give him a GK.

Is there a HUGE boost in the other songs with the horn, or is its only function 4 extra ticks of mp?

Basically that's the only function.

Everything else is just about the same.. Might get like 2 more attack from Minuet and other small differences like that, but that's about it.

Because -1agi and str make a big difference to BRD amirite? Oh, and they really need the +8acc too.

People who play beastmaster need corsette+1 anyway, having that and gleemen's is inventory-1.

Gjallahorn is just for ballads, wind based +2 lullaby, wind based +2 finale, and inventory space. Not that that isnt a big enough benefit on its own, but all other important songs already have a +2 instrument.

No, there's already an instrument that gives +2 to March. +2 from Relic and +2 from a normal instrument are the same.

The only difference is the Relic's songs have +10 wind/singing skill, which for some songs will result in an increase in their effectiveness by a very small number (like 1-2%?).

The biggest problem I have with upgrading a horn is that if a +2 ballad instrument was ever introduced as a normal instrument, the relics practically worthless.

Not that I think they ever will, but Square is pretty retarded about some things.

I dont know, its just that most linkshells im in are hurting for bards, and generally the melee benifit more from bards then mages. Yes, 80 more mp a minute is nice.. but isnt that just about the same as the increased damage potential of just having a bard in the melee party? Not trashing the horn, its nice, and if ya have a dozen bards then fantastic. Just wish it did more for the melee side as well.
