Yeah, but it's not always a choice between not meriting and meriting with 1 brd. If you can't get a second brd for merits and you aren't hurting for merits, there is always wotg ranks, or lowbie jobs, or crafting. I would rather use my time effectively, not to mention it's a lot more fun with 2 brds, and it's all about the fun at the end of the day.

I had a friend who had BH4 (Bard Hunter) and got a pyschic flash of insight anytime a bard anywhere thought even remotely about meriting.

The only times I merited with him that weren't 2 Brd, were Brd+Cor, I'll miss that guy.

Comments like this seem more ignorant then actually doing the tests first hand. Bandwagons are always fun, but don't always lead you in the right direction. How many times now have people changed their builds because the next best combo was discovered. I'd rather just test it myself and know, because no one with the amano I asked could answer my question.

well thats how i do. when something come out, i read forums with people who experienced said things or i try myself in game if my money allows me or i just ask friends that arent retards but in the end, bandwagon or not if this strap was > Pole, it would be out by now same goes for full STR TPing, full DEX on YGK to make them crit etc etc its called "old news" even if there is no about it its like this (i'm way too lazy to read their maths -_-).

i'm starting to be a multi job whore me too, yet, i dont pop @ 75 with half of my gear totally dead since 2004 or just totally wrong (like some DRK using snow ring on Spinning Slash, yes its real). so the multi job excuse that i though was right in the past starts to be bullshit to my eyes.

First off, please, please, please, use proper punctuations. I had to reread your post a few times to understand what you were trying to convey. Those are the only changes you could make to my current build that would increase my STR on WS's. Even when we were starting to understand more and more about the game, every week the zeitgeist would shift, and another piece of gear would be the "new" must have. But if you aren't doing the tests first hand, and you don't read or understand the numbers, then you really don't add anything to the discourse other then opinion. If you think that the strap is "100% wrong", but you don't understand the numbers that justify it, what does it matter. There may even be select scenarios when it's the best thing you could use, but you can't explain to me or anyone why this would or would not be true other then, "because they said so". That's what I mean by bandwagon, I'm not interested in peoples opinions of why something is wrong. Only in the numbers that their opinions should be based on. Otherwise it just comes off as.. how did you put it?.. Ah yes, "bullshit".

i dont understand why when you play /WAR you dont want to increase the DA rate. it just seems obvious to me, i dont need 35 person to do maths to understand that +2% DA when /WAR is +2% more insane. same mentality as brutal imo.

I got a question concerning relic weapon skills namely "Scourge" the weapon skill you get from Ragnarok. Ive read in a few places that CHR and MND are the WS mods but having Ragnarok and doing extensive testing on the mods for a few months now I am convinced that they are not the mods. Has anyone heard any other mods it may be?
