that Jevot doesn't look that bad... I think the only things I'd call out are zenith slacks(errant slops or AF+1 legs) and the AF1 hands (maybe they've had bad luck getting the item drops for brd? or don't do temenos) everything else is atleast worth using I think?

or just doesn't do limbus at all and just bought coins for that musical earring, idk

It has been a proven fact that if your gear is top notch and you obtain your relic, nothing else will drop for you. ever. at least this is true for the following combination: Sylph, Horn, Galka, and Salvage.

rostrums, the rings, and legs/hands as you said all have alot better alternatives and are not too hard to obtain

marduk > osode > manteel > minstrels > yigit > lolerrant in my opinion for fulltime body pieces (marduk being #1)

Jevot had a COMPLETELY self funded relic, not to mention having to do 15 runs for an attestation. What she had on in that exact moment is nowhere near an accurate depiction of her total gear/skill.

I finished my club without selling one piece of HQ gear for my BLM SMN or WHM. Gimping yourself in 11 slots so you can upgrade one is fucking stupid. You most likely lost more gimping yourself than you got back getting to stage 5.

What the fuck does 15 attestation runs have to do with funding a relic anyways? Absolutely nothing. If anything it should have given him more time to farm so he didn't have to gimp out himself.
