I'm sorry, little derail here... I just don't get it. What is gimpy about Askar hands? No -movement, moar haet, and Dex towards crit build+4 Acc with a 2h weapon is crap compared to 1% more Haste, 5 Att, and HP that Askar might have too?

Yeah yeah, Dusk +1 or gtfo, naturally, but I actually wanted Askar hands to complement my Dusk hands.

Ouch, I know how you feel Amylea. LPs first relic was a LOLkatana too. BTW it sucks, I don't care who you talk to. Quietus' first Metsu did 153 on a decent challenge mob. It's also terrible in XP parties, our second katana from Zinzo did 151 metsu on a mamool. I think he was out parsed by about 5% from a DRG/SAM. Mamools, not colibri. Some relics were made for looks, others for practical use. Others still just to have something for someone to WASTE money on.

Oh, the paralyze effect procs about once every 20 or so XP mobs. The times it paralyzes the mobs before they die is about .01%. I don't know maybe NINs need to stack up on more MND gear? (Just kidding) For solo fights it is prolly a decent wep.

lol. the reason sarron tp's in heca feet is because he never put the funds into dusk because of his weapon. I'm sure now that its finish he'll do so. So you can talk about someone else being 'gimp' cause until you dump 300 mil into a single piece, you don't understand the meaning of it lol.

Sarron's a gimp, and the #1 fucking reason why the lolDRG mentality is perpetuated. TPing in Hecatomb Leggings when there's so many other choices that are cheaper or free? Self-signed or not, if he can afford to craft a Barone Corazza, he certainly can afford to wear something better on his feet.

So yes, he's a gimp, and you yourself say I am allowed to call him that if I 'dump 300 mil into a single piece', because I dumped gil into that same piece.

Rhealana for a sec I thought you were someone else, lol. There is a 6A mithra in my LS with the EXACT same gear setup only no relic. It's a pretty hawt looking build. But like, mithra > all, we make anything look good.

140-150 damage happens when you hit only with offhand and not full weaponskill, usually you get 4tp return instead of 9. Still, 140-150 is better than full miss you see sometimes from other relic weaponskills and with right build it`s not like it happens on regular basis. If your kikoku ninjas put 10% of effort they put in getting relic to get gear to swap for metsu average damage should be 700-720 on exp mobs.

Paralyze is indeed super weak and what`s worse you can`t overwrite it with jubaku.

Still jin>metsu even with very good swap equip but I find metsu useful for it`s skillchain usefulness especially recently in salvage with samurai skillchain partner. It`s always nice to see qutrub oneshot with kasha>metsu>light or follow someone's darkness with your double for extra damage. Definitely more than solo or -looks- weapon although it`s not as powerful as Amanomurakumo, Apocalypse or even Mandau, Yoichinoyumi.

I wouldn't call Askar Hands gimp but they are definitely not equal to Dusk. Dusk has more haste and more attack. All of the evidence so far has shown that just a few DEX is not going to effect your crit hit rate. Anytime you are going to being moving, you could just switch gear. Askar is good but Dusk is definitely better.

NW quit with 100Gold during inflation and came back with hundreds of millions, she can basically complete another relic right now if she pleases (and I do believe she's doing horn now.) She only finished Kikou because she was on Stage 3 or 4 when she quit or something, back when NIN was her main(only?) job. That being said her NIN is pretty well geared and I don't think Kikou is as bad as you're making it out to be if you keep in mind why someone would even get one

I wouldn't call Askar Hands gimp but they are definitely not equal to Dusk. Dusk has more haste and more attack. Wasn't really implying Askar are better then NQ Dusk, just saying I would prefer them personally because I hate having to switch to Heca/Alky's(SAM) to move around anywhere.

the pic is of a DRG, so between Askar and Dusk, there's Homam. Askar is definitely the most inferior of the 3 but it's far from gimp.
