I've never been really into the calculations and whatnot... so, does this number include DRG's Accuracy Bonus job trait?

No, it doesn't count anything from traits or JA.

I don't TP in nearly that much accuracy and I always cap.

68 base dex + 2h + capped merits + mad/min +25acc +25dex from gear = capped acc on birds.

25 DEX is 18.75 acc, Madrigal caps at +32 (?) acc without merits.

18.75 + 32 + 25 = 75.75

Which as I said, is easily enough to cap.

To be a little more specific, you can hit the cap at about +60 acc with the numbers I mentioned earlier, but doing it consistently with no leeway is more like the range I mentioned before.

I'm referring to DRK/SAM, so the only thing I can think of is Hasso, and it's only up about 75% of the time because I switch out a lot. It's +10 accuracy as a sub, right?

My gear (with accuracy or DEX):

Algol (269 + 16 + 7 skill) = 291 skill
Fire Bomblet (+6 Accuracy)
Ace's Helm (+7 Accuracy)
Homam hands (+4 Accuracy)
Ecphoria/Ulthalam's (+8 Accuracy)
Abyss Cape (+7 Accuracy)
Warwolf Belt (+5 DEX, no Swift, 0/7)
Homam legs (+3 Accuracy)
Homam feet (+6 Accuracy)

That's a total of 291 skill, +41/51 accuracy (depending on if Hasso is up) and +5 DEX, yet I still hit 93-96% every time I parse.

If I use Scythe (which I don't have merited) I hover between 89-92% accuracy.

This is with cheap attack food and 2x BRD using double March, double Minuet (because fuck Madrigal).

iirc hasso is +10% acc +10% haste from 35-75 for sam, the only thing that changes is the str (not 100% sure about the acc)

It's about 54 acc with Hasso on, only 6 acc short of what I said is enough to average close enough to the acc cap, and 6 isn't enough to put you out of reach of it. Around 15 or so would.

The numbers I said earlier were also for 95%+, not a range of 92-95%. Which is what you're expected to get having slightly lower amounts of acc.

I cap regularly at Colibri on Dragoon with:

299 skill
62 Base Dex +12
+38 accuracy
+22 in Job traits.
No Hasso.

So looking at +60 accuracy and only +9 acc from Dex (69 total accuracy, but because I'm 6 DEX short of the assumed base, it's closer to 65) which meets Ruke's estimates.

I'm assuming people are still making reference to the overkill on the Dragoon with Gungnir? Clearly I don't have a relic, but even the gear the guy has alone without the relic is enough to cap. Blah blah City gear, but who doesn't walk around in Ares/Askar Body if they have Homam? Haven't met one yet. The guy needs to upgrade his body or put it on Mannequin.

I do. I walk around in homam/w.legs because it's red and matches. Plus it's my DRG/WHM "have enough mp to cast reraise while weakened" gear.

But.. that's about all I wear it for.

It's for his BRD. He'll soon enough be so awesome he doesn't have to wait for the goblin to finish doing his thing and he'll just go stage 1-5 in 20mins.

don't forget the evasion down from drg polearms and Bravuras that could also have a factor in the entire pts accuracy
