Yes he is going to duel wield. I do think he should have gone for an Excalibur though. Dual relic PLD is really nice, but he made a fatal n00b error, he should have done both Aegis&Excal before leveling PLD, not just the Aegis.

I used a similar setup when I tanked chariots in salvage. Well, not the gorget and flame ring, but everything else is close and/or the same.
