Today and yesterday got us about 30m for my Gjallarhorn. But i guess i will wait and see if the nyzul stuffs has something usefull for whm before i really start to buy coins. Kinda like whm >.<

Atm we have 3 Ghorn mule (well chops is only half mule, he still plays from time to time)

There's another well known LS on Phoenix that uses the same type of bank system you use and it works well also. I'm surprised that a system like this actually works on a server, let alone with two LS.

From what Ive seen Mercury has a pretty tight group of friends/people that really trust each other and know each other in RL, so a pooled bank system (especially one in the LS that camps -every- pop) is pretty productive, because there is no room for individual greed. When done properly it is pretty awesome(for the LS as a whole), but I still think its dangerous because its easily taken advantage of (i.e. 2 relics for one person, not that dilias didnt deserve it, just thinking of stanislav atm). Takes alot of trust to make a system like that work.

Either way, Im always happy to see another Aegis pld, let alone an excal/aegis pld that knows what they are doing on pheonix.

It's not really dangerous because it's not that he said "hey guys im upgrading excalibur", its more like that the ls said "Go finish your excalibur gimp ass!" We are watching carefully who gets a sponsored relic. If someone doesnt want to wait the LS only helps with the attest/frag.

People don't like gilbuyers for two reasons:
1. RMT monopolize your NMs
2. People can RMT and buy that item you worked 1 year for.

The latter and getting a free relic comes close to me.

Not really, you wont get a relic unless you worked 2 years in the LS and spent countless of hours camping etc. Free relic is the wrong term. Trust me, every of our relic holder worked more for it than you for your Amano.

Well, the 24 other people agree to this stipulation when they join the LS. If they don't like it they can leave. The system is working well for MercuryX because it seems they are pretty close with each other. Now...if this were another LS (take your pick of the super winnar LS of Phoenix) where people are just there for their shinies and to bounce, this would NEVER work.

I would probably argue with the "they worked harder for it than a self funder", but perhaps you were just talking to 123 Q.Q. I cant imagine saying someone that had a LS fund their relic worked harder for it than someone that funded on their own, but I guess that goes case by case. When I was funding aegis(which took about 2 years), I still attended HNM events, camped with LS, and did the usual daily stuff, so it wasnt like I was banning all LS events. Saying someone has been really active in the LS doesnt really infer they did anything above any other dedicated member in a HNMLS that wasnt spending every moment of their spare time farming/crafting for their relic, all the while helping their LS out.

Dont get me wrong, I believe LS relics are highly beneficial to the LS and overall good moral, I just cant agree with the claim that its anywhere close to the effort it takes to self fund a relic (unless you RMT it or saves gil from inflation).

And to izzy: Just because Ive aggroed every mob in every dynamis zone possible, and made an entire alliance HP in Dynamis-Tav doesnt mean Im not a rockin pld, it just means I am creative.. ya.. creative.

We had like 15 min left and were camped between 2 sections of mobs. I die and decide resting at the top of the ramp would be an AWESOME idea. Boom, eye aggroes, alliance wipes, no chance to RR.

Everyone HPs, re-enters, and gets some goodies.

Good times.

I decided to camp on the ramp to 49 so we had more time farming bodies and not running back through the hallway of repopped bees and eyes. Neo ran to the top and aggroed eye 100. We wiped at the base of the ramp fighting the eye that pops there and couldn't reraise. Q_Q
