I once used Counterstance for hate during an LBC a long time ago(Un-nerfed LBC, started using HM while it turned, had no chance to avoid ._.), before I had a chance to cancel it, it turned around and double crit me for 750+ on each x.X

I actually have CStance up usually when I tank chariots :3 I just pray for a counter on one of those two crits usually, and I haven't died to a chariot in months... Maybe I'm just lucky

need some clarification here... do counters actually give you hate? I know you can counter an untouched mob without getting any hate, and have someone spam cure you without them grabbing hate. But does it give hate when you've performed an action of some sort on the mob?

What Zeratu meant was the spike hate you get when initiating the ability. Usually you'd cancel it afterwards (like he said he was about to), if you're not keeping CS up the whole time.
