Shit it'd be nice, hell I don't even have a melee job (yet) and I think it's stupid to only be able to cap two weapons.

capping two magics sucks too really, well, being able to do ele enf and enhancing on RDM would be nice, or someone with BLU or BRD 75

Don't really need to cap Enhancing on RDM, without merits it's still easy as hell to cap Stoneskin on both RDM and WHM. I haven't had too much trouble deciding what to do in terms of magic skills with the jobs I have, since BLM is probably next Elemental is the clear choice for another 8/8. Meriting Enhacing just seems like a waste of merits when there's plenty of gear you can fill in to make up for it, whereas with Enfeebling every fucking point of skill, magic accuracy, mnd, and the kitchen sink affects how well it lands and procs.

Would I merit more if I could though? Maybe, but I'd probably just leave those extra slots open in case I decide to level something else like BLU or BRD, then I'd be QQing about not having enough ability to diversify.

I honestly hardly ever use Phalanx II, I can see its uses but I'm so rarely even on RDM anymore it's kinda meh.

Not anymore ... (Group server hopped, nice bunch, weren't they?) And when I did Salvage I was always on WHM. Pretty much I use WHM for most events where we've got at least an ally of people, and RDM for stuff like ENM and Zeni farming and shit. And meriting, and soloing. So RDM usually where we don't actually have a clear tank that needs P2, but probably shit that needs enfeebled and possibly CS + Nuked.

Someone should just flat out make a mule called ragnarok on ragnarok server, lvl blm to 75 & war to 5, upgrade a ragnarok whit drk & pld unlocked and put "I should have upgraded Staff" in bazzar comment.
