I go /RDM because no matter what sub, he hits for nothing and RDM is just the best sub for hate =)

As for the guy above that post.. learn2play please. Yes if your gear allows it, RDM is the best sub for many things. Just because the PLDs you have experienced are average, doesn't mean there is not a whole other level of what PLD can do.

I swear to god, 75% of the time I am on this forum all I see is people who killed some HNM posting here like they are the shit. At this point in the game, no HNM is special, its how you well you do it.

so what you are saying is instead of blink tanking you would rather face tank like 2004 /rdm for better hate. on some fights that would work well but how can you justify this on mobs that hit like a brick, even if you have the best gear possible you are still going to get rocked. do you tank khim /rdm too? i don't understand how you can kill low man like you explained before on a different thread if you are going to be a huge mp sink to your mages

I said Ixion and Kings.. You really think Ixion hits like a brick? It hits me for 0 on blocks lol my MP stays full the whole fight and same for the mages in the tank PT. And omg.. at the same time I have more spells at my disposal for hate. Did I forget to mention RDM has an M def boost that helps a lot on Ixion? We never use more then one tank for Ixion or Kings, and sometimes Tia/Khi/Cerb. How can you even begin to talk if you have no real experience with the situation?

I am sorry, but we play with the best strategies we can always come up with, hence the linkshell name and even our competition who hates us in many ways will never say a word about our skill or strategies.

I thought your post a few above this one was a joke o.o damn man you should try it, with a good tank though don't use any retards. Average hit del takes is 30-40, so 100dmg every 10 seconds, then weapon skills for 400-600 (or less) depending on.

It really is more efficient than /nin, no doubt =) i'm sure most ls's use that sub now

/rdm @ix definetly interest me, since most tanks find it hard to keep hate vs army of buffed RNGs @ix.

Yes they are easy to evade, but the key to holding hate for a PLD is cure bombing. When it comes to spear and zeus, at least in our case, we prefer to eat it and Cure4 ourselves, because melee hits don't generate enough dmg to spam Cure4 enough to not actually stay at full MP.

What the fuck is this mentality that PLDs key is to avoid all possible damage? The key is to have a balance between taking damage and your MP pool. In the end with the correct balance you will never lose hate. The damage you take will never lose as much hate as the hate you receive from Cure4, so if you can keep taking damage and Cure4ing yourself without running out of MP, then that is your best choice. Your goal as PLD is to stay at the hate cap, and never drop.

700? sub rdm he takes like 200-600 tops, 300-400 from zeus, and 100-300 from stance, kicks usually don't do much either. plus u need to cure urself more, etc.

i think someone missed the point, YOU ARE A RNG (caps for emphasis), that being said, your def is like paper and you dont have a huge shield with which to block mele hits.
