its so they can update the quest for the pumpkin hat. and whatever else happens during that festival. costumes and such.

yes, but they group their updates together with their holiday updates... look at past update schedules to back this up...

Big Whoop! Wanna fight about it?

Someone told me I had an image leecher so I had a little fun with the leeched gif. I didn't make the sig, but I always host my own files, as you can see what happens. Tell you what though, when I actually get around to making a toon sig you have my permission to use that one without fear of being ninja'd. If it makes you feel any better, I forgot I had the same image up on myspace when I did the switch! My friends got a good laugh! XD

They do the update which adds the items prior to the event starting, then all the music/npcs/decorations come on at a set time and the quests activate. I would have thought they would give more than one weekend for the event, but I'm still guessing Oct23 update, Oct24 Halloween quest start.
