We had a Rat Terrier/Dachshund mix who lived until she was 21. We had to have her put to sleep because she went blind and kept running in to things. D:

Well I finally got my camera on my phone working (for now at least), and I didn't wanna make a new thread, so yeah, bump
This is my kitten Saydi, and she's a bitch.

I say that because she is one. The main problem with her is when I got her, I didn't realize I was allergic to cats, by the second night I was sneezing like crazy, my eyes were burning and watering and it was just terrible. It's not so bad anymore but every so often they start acting up.
Everyone says "omg if you're allergic to her then don't keep her" but I bottle fed her and I'm too attached to her now to let her go ; ;
A few more that I forgot I had:

I have four cats but two of them run away whenever there's a camera nearby.

Ringo:

From the same litter, maybe about 7 months old now? Juju was the first born of the litter (don't know what it's called) and Ringo is the runt.

although she was just a dog she was the lil sister I always wanted.
AwSorry to hear that. I lost a couple dogs within a year due to age, one was 14 the other 15. x.x
Chessie was 13 years old... she was still a right lil mischief right up to the day we lost her... stealing socks and underwear and making sure everyone gets there cuddles. She knew something was wrong...Originally Posted by Akiyama

Bad morning pic but I dont give a fuck since I love my dog to pieces.
That sucks man, sorry to hear.I had a 13 year old cat, had him since I was three up to when I was sixteen. Got him in Germany, that cat had been everywhere since I travelled a lot when I was a kid. Sucked though when he died, I fell asleep on the couch and woke up because I left the computer on or something and he was laying by the chair. I pet him a few times, realized he wasn't moving or anything, and my poor Mikey was dead.
Named him after TMNT Michaelangelo, such an awesome cat too. I've had five cats die, all equally awesome in their own way.
Yeah.. they seem to always know what's wrong before we do as owners even if we know them so well. It wasn't painful though, both died in their sleep. THey were outside dogs, but we brought them inside.. it's so hard to look in the backyard and know they aren't there anymore ; ;Originally Posted by Sadler
Yea, most pets are awesome in there own way.
I dunno if I can get another pet after Chessie tho... we had her cremated and we even had her ashes put in a specially named Urn. Got a pure gold name plate with "Chestnut" engraved... so I am gonna wait for her first year anniversary and plant a rose in dedication and bury the urn underneth.
Ninja Edit : May sound over the top but regardless of if they are an animal they are part of the family... alot of pets are more human than some people on this forum.
Here's a picture of our new dog though. Sometimes I wish it was like the first few days we had him (he was only a couple months old and won't get much bigger than this).. he wouldn't leave the couch. Now he bounces off the couch across the room, runs wild. :/ Darn dog.

Nah I know what you mean, we're the same way. While we haven't gotten any of them cremated, they're buried under the tree in the backyard because they would always sit in the window and stare at it. It was weird though, the first one that died that we did this for, the same spot we buried it some flower started growing next to the tree.
I don't think I could bury a dog... It would destroy me if somebody dug that spot by accident or if I moved house.Originally Posted by Ivaden
Its kinda weird how stuff like that flower happens, kinda added abit of closure I bet.
Cute looking dog btw, I am a Spaniel lover really... I wouldn't say by choice but when I was afew months old we had a Cocker Spaniel that really got very attached too me from what I was told. Her name was Penny and I have some really fragile pictures of her rolling up in a circle with me in the middle to keep me warm... so you could say by love of there breed and natural character.
rofl, cute!
I miss my dogs at my parents housemoved out a few years ago and have been meaning to get a new puppy;;
Built my cats a cat treehouse thing (omg did you guys know there's sunlight outside?). Actually I made 2, but the first one wasn't as nice. Drew up plans and everything and built them in a weekend each. Here they are dicking around on the better looking one.
