On Ramuh, theres a dude named Swiftfoxx. He uses the generic Battle.net grammar, leet speak and what-not, and he just so happened to be in my party.

I'm on my 45NIN, as is he. He is using level 26 katanas, and level 18 gi armor. I get the bard to pass me leader.

Just to point out how dumb this guy is, he 'pulls' worms in Altepa Desert. PULLS. WORMS. Did I mention it was with Doton: Ichi? At level 45? For zero damage. MULTIPLE TIMES.

We get an Antican add, so I tell him to get it off of us. He vokes it, I kick him from the party. Not much later, he dies to the ant solo. He then starts cussing at me, and I call a GM on him. He was jailed about ten minutes later.

Katalyst, our RDM, managed to resist sleepga multiple times, with a dark staff and AF1 body and VT mobs. When he used Chainspell water3, that was the final straw. No debuffs, our tanks getting raped left and right, battles took Aeons to kill, we ate all firagas that goblins threw, etc.

As you can see, when the tank dies to incinerate, I'm to blame, actually when he dies to anything, I'm to blame because me (then a 60s thf) wasnt balancing hate, WITH A TANK.

A long time ago when I was doing Promyvion-Vazhl for the first time, we had a PLD tank for the BCNM, he had no HP, MP, refresh, regen, food, etc. He refused to try and farm for Anima, after I suggested it before we even got to Promyvion, we wiped like 5 times, always because I ran out of MP curing him, and he would always die with most of his MP left. We went back to town to stock up on more medicines and such, and we come back, and we go in the BCNM, and it turns out he still didn't buy anything, so we fight again, I run out of MP again and his MP is still full, the fight was actually going sort of well,
PLD's HP was going down a bit, so I was going to run in for Benediction, but they were fighting that stupid tower Empty and it did that AoE Promyvion Broom (I hate that, always one-shots me -_ ) So it sends us all flying back, and me away from the PLD, I tried to run in and benediction, but it was just a moment too late (I hate that!). So we wiped, and when we get out, he says something like "Kuponut, you are the weakest link. Goodbye" It was just the lamest thing I have ever heard. He is the greatest moron I have ever met on FFXI. Went back the next day with a party of friends after I farmed a few anima, and it was just so easy...

i was xping brd, the party had blm, rdm, me, nin, thf, rng. of course this was pre patch so there was no distance BS. we were in valley of sorrows.

i went thru my 3 tier song cycle, standing far out toward melee sang minuet 2, then minuet 3, than ran in closer to get just the melee with madrigal (not rng), then back to mages for ballads.

well first pull the ninja flips out saying "wtf are these songs, get them off me i need shit for tanking" ..... apparently in an exp party as a ninja he wanted mambo and agi etude.

i tried to correct his logic

i start singing my ballads for the mages and go to run up to melee and the rng goes "why the fuck do i have ballad on me, give me etudes and prelude!" .... apparently while i was bitching at the nin the rng decided he was going to play BLM with bolts. so ive got a pre patch rng eatting sushi and standing right ontop of the mages complaining that i hit him with ballad.

the ninja couldnt blink tank for shit, and thats really bad if you cant with elegy on. the rng already ate sushi and wanted prelude and etude. i tried to explain the concepts of, if youre eatting sushi you dont need prelude you need attack, to the rng. as well as you dont need mambos to tank, you need to deal damage and have acc to tank in xp party.

they told me i was a noob and had no idea what i was talking about, so i waited for the next pull. they nabbed a pertyon and raptor, so i took this moment to disband and warp scroll.

This just happened to me recently on my 46 sam:
I accept an invite and look at the party and we have a brd, mnk rdm something something. We go to the basement of Garlaige Citadel, and the brd d/c (of course). Now I look at the party and I notce we don't have a tank. So I say in party chat "ok we need a tank" searching searching.... no tanks. After a few minutes the ldr is like "ok I got a smn" So I say "Who is gonna tank" Ldr: you are, Me: ...
Now I am a nice guy at heart so I don't like to just leave parties even if they suck really bad so I said w/e and we gave it a go.
We killed a couple bats, and I almost die a few times and I consider force d/cing myself. Instead I pull a beetle knowing we would wipe. Which we did, and I promptly Hped and gave up.
