How is HQ Errant body not impressive? with sub gold and leather, I would have to say a lot harder to HQ than mitts.

Errant bodies are easier to churn out in mass, in order to try and get that tier 0 HQ. I think HQ errant body is very nice, but I'm more impressed with mitts.

Errant body imo is not as impressive because of the demand for the nq. They sell so fast, you have little risk doing 25+ at a time because you can sell them in a week and then do it all over again. Mitts-1 cannot be made that way without huge losses.

I actually sold one about a month ago for 35m in bazaar. Since then there have been 2 that people can't seem to get rid of out in Batallia. What's super funny to me is that someone has posted a Mahatma Hpl. on the auction house over 10 times and it has yet to sell lawl. The fee's they are paying is just sick, even if its only posted for 30m each time.

Actually, I was pretty overjoyed when I saw the HQ animation, I was running around in my Nice-colored LS at the moment, EndlessPrelude, so there wasn't anyone to spam to. It was also like 3 A.M. in the morning. I only had about 5 Million gil at the time, so even just HQing the houppelande was a big thing for me (Breaks were killing me). HQ'd another Houppelande the next week or so when I was skilling up, Mahatma cuffs during 96-98, Rasetsu Samue +1 98-99, and I also made a Briault +1 last week.

Don't think I Screenshot'd my 2nd Houppelande, or the Mahatma cuffs, the JPs who bought them erased the signature though =/ So I decided to keep my Samue and Briault, and also didn't sign my 3rd Houppelande. I got excited in those and such !

No luck on another Cursed mitts -1 though ; ;

2/3 HQ staves at WW90ish (tier1), crafted on a friend's request, he was fine with NQs.

But my biggest synth ever was Cursed Togi -1, being my first togi synth ever. Being 1/1 on that item is kinda unexpected =)

Then i did a BC that dropped two raxa, bought a third, and then randomly decided to sign it. My first T0 money synth

I don't have a condescending attitude towards anyone. I am just stating that statistically, Mahatma Hpl. is a harder synth and an accomplishment. Not only is it like a tier 0 synth but also you need the gold and leather subs which makes it even more difficult. The only thing that makes cursed mitts -1 (96-cloth 0-subs)rare are the fact that siren's hair are not a common item. And are bought as soon as they are put up. So there aren't as many oppertunities.


I am not here to argue with you about how many you have seen on who in what server.
I am only defending the fact that Mahatma Hpl. (which is a very used piece of equip.) is an impressive synth and an awesome accomplishment Congrats :D

I agree, I'd love to HQ Errant Body. It's definitely a very useful and nice piece for all wearable jobs, while HQ mitts is more a BLM epeen item.

Of course, HQ/NQ Errant body is mostly a macro piece for me, but still
