First time I saw baron's chapeau I freaked out thinking I'd be able to synth matching hotpants. I still like the seasonal events, I still don't have a fucking pumpkin hat though and my pld could use a pointy black hat I guess. As stated though, Summerfest '04 was the end-all be-all event. (First feast of swords was cool for a few days)

I care more about them reusing the Walhara Turban graphic for mithra without altering it for the ears.

I don't see the update happening in the next few days. SE always puts out a file size for their updates and the expected day of maint a few days before the update.
