tbh, I don't anyone can 12- man it reliably. Sure, you maye have beat it 1-2 times before, but shit will hit the fan and then it's a wasted set. Should have more people than even 18 wanting to do limbus anyways, that pt can go split off

i've had people tell me you can't clear 3 Kings Apollyon without at least 2 PTs, than people go and do it with 3 people (reliably)

similar about taking a whole bunch of people with /BST /SMN to fight Rapido (for 10k needles), and i can kill it with 2 people.

there are some Assaults i've done with 6 people that we really came close to losing and at the same time other people have done it with 3 people.

with the proper strat, jobs, gear and execution a lot of things that people think are not possible become possible. reliablity can increase through repetition.

not everybody that does Limbus is an HNM/Dynamis LS that has 30+ members.

I would've said the same if a competant NA LS informed me.
Question is, would I believe it if you say YOU/your group could clear with even 12 or less? We all know the answer.

Uhhh, my gimpy LS beat Proto-Omega 5 months ago with 12ish people... not because we're elite or anything but because that's all that was online at the time... so I'm sure it can be done with less pretty easily.

Can't remember exact setup, but it was something non-optimal like:

WAR, MNK, NIN, BRD, RDM, WHM
RNG, DRK, BRD, WHM, RDM, BLM

Usually when we do Proto-Ultima, we get him to Citadel Buster Stage in like 15-20 mins with a full alliance, and then it's just zombying... so I don't see why it can't be done with half an alliance....

No fun telling people they can't go with us to Proto fights, so we usually go with a full alliance or close to anyways.

I've killed Omega with 12 before. Was pretty easy too. Hm, I think our setup was something like:

NIN PLD/NIN BRD RDM/DRK WHM lolDRG
WAR THF BLM BLM BLM RDM

And the BRD was being 2boxed by the RDM in that party.

JP use diffrent ways to kill stuff no one believed that taru rdm before (avesta? soloed zm14+genbu+ungur+chry+alot of stuff) till he posted videos

Also you know that Heat breath do 1k damage vs proto ultima very easily? (maybe hyoton helps or something dunno)

If you do not believe its killable with 9 just becouse your ls got raped with 18(lol) you are ignorant as wop said

Ya, i don't doubt wopadobop's claim as chekitaru was the rdm who duoed seiryu. Also, ultima really isnt even hard until 25% where he uses citadael buster. And even citadael buster isn't too bad if you macro in magic dmg-%, light resistance, and mnd+ gear (you can usually get CB to only do a little over 1k pretty consistently this way)

Our LS is just starting to mandate Coral Gear too, our last Ultima liked to spam Dissipation also... so we had a lot of deaths and ended up zombie'n last 5%.

I wouldn't worry about trying to convince others if you know what happens or what works. If somebody tells me I'm wrong, I just say ok and go on my merry way, because I know what I know. Whether it's the number of people needed for a kill, or which piece of equipment is superior. If you're seen it/done it, you know. If you've tested, you know. If people don't believe they could be wrong, they'll have something to say no matter what you show them to the contrary.
