Warning to those getting really excited about the manga, it isn't finished yet

It currently does go beyond the anime however (the last bit of the anime is totally different from anything in the manga)

If you're looking for some sort of conclusion or continuation from the anime, you'll be disappointed.


If anybody has a link to a translated copy of the light novel, I'd be interested in that.

Currently the manga goes quite a bit beyond the anime and is still ongoing.

To give you an idea, the manga is currently on volume 6. The anime ends about at chapter 4 of the manga. Though the ending is pretty different to give the anime a kind of closure.

As much as I love the manga, I've got to admit I thought the anime was also the best of this season. I can only hope they decide to do another season of it, and also release the manga faster, I'm dying for more here ; ;

Almost all of them can be found before chapter 20, but most are slightly (sometime a lot) different. Anime/manga start to differ more when you learn about Misaki past around episode 21-22 of the TV series.

Main difference so far in the manga
-Misaki still has her parent, she lied about them being dead, and they apparently live in the mansion. She is also a lot more crazy in the manga, especially when she try to go back to school.

In the anime, she was nice and shy all the time, but in the manga, you see more of her "bad" side and mood change.
-Satou get dragged back home by his parents
-None of the other character have an happy ending like they did in the anime...yet.


So far, 35 chapter were released in Japan, 32 were fan subbed. I doubt people will stop translating them because the series seem somewhat popular on anime board. It's just a pain for now to download since most torrent are down, and licensed anime are usually well hidden on the net.

Again, if anyone have trouble finding the manga, I can send it on AIM. Only one I'm still missing is 30-31, but I should have them soon..hopefully ;x

Wow >.> I posted this topic so long ago...

Anyway, it's a great anime/manga/series, I honestly thought it would be comedy all the way through but so ended after a while (it was still pretty funny though). I dunno wtf the person is talking about quality, the animation IS quality, simple style, strong movements that are most often OTT and flow beautifully. Obviously Kyoto animation and Kanon 2006 have better animation but it seems they also have a much bigger budget this series (I expected Kanon to finish around ep 13).

I think I should try get the manga, after NHK finished my animes I was currently watching week by week went down =\

A little less than 3 months Poor thread had no reply and that series deserve more attention, especially since it make fun of our addiction to FFXI.


About the manga, I would just wait for the series to end before downloading it. If it's true the manga writer had a stroke and wont finish it any time soon, it would be a torture to start it now

Lol that is wierd thing about some of the scenes quality, not many artists do that anymore. I noticed that a few of the last episodes were all low quality like that. I didnt really care, but it makes me wonder if they ran out of budget for those episodes or something >.>
