Im not going to ban every annoying catchphrase person that comes through the forums, your severely misquoting me. I am going to ban people who abuse the rules continually. lolsash is a joke on the forums, and while it can be overused it is pretty well controlled by the populace. What Im talking about is someone derailing a thread on purpose for no reason whatsoever. If you think Im being unfair, then you can go to another forum and do your work there. Youve never had moderated BG forums because when the WoW people controlled them the FFXI side had little to no say over what went on. If you think Im being unfair, like I said, leave. But Im stopping shit before it starts because I like to read topics about the original creation, unless its a derail into another important topic, there is no reason to continue a shitty thread.

I am moderating, I am controlling content in a fashion that I do not believe to be evil, I take offense to the fact you want completely uncontrolled chaos on these forums because it makes you giggle. These are BG forums, we invite others in to enjoy them with us, we dont want or need someone shitting all over them because they refused to read or search or simply lurk. There is alla or KI for a lot of that shit, we dont want or need it here.

If you dont like it, leave, your not paying for these forums, nobody is twisting your arm.

i have to say that i think the mods are doing a great job and these forums are better since the move in my opinion. i got really tired of the "Zam" and lol"random stuff here" and some of the other crap that was going on before. i read these forums alot more now.

they're very very similar but there's a glaring difference between the 2.

Map and lolSash is a tired topic of discussion like Meat vs Sushi usually by people other than Map himself.

Takedown and Warcry are forum people trying to discredit someone's posts for the hell of it and it usually ignores the content that's he's posting.

personally, i'd ban lolsash too but since the joke played itself out, it's no longer necessary.
