Back before the PW controversy that ended up with this new AV depop in 2 hour thing, SE always said to the community that the regen was the problem, and not the 2 hours. SE also mentioned that our pace for killing AV was wrong. Then the video came out and we saw a bunch of people using 2 hours again and again. Some ingenious people put the videos together to create a timeline. I think we were looking at this wrong. Why did SE change AV after the PW incident? They got a lot of flack for how PW was an 18+ hour fight. So they announced they would change PW and AV. But why did they change AV? We assumed it was to make it easier. What if the reason they changed it was because AV was also an 18+ hour fight the way it was designed? What if the reason SE kept harping on the regen issue was because if we could completly negate the regen thru the designed measures then we could slowly kill AV over the course of several hours? Look at JOL. Well now you can start killing JOL from pop but originally you were supposed to hold JOL, negate the regen then slowly kill. AV could have been designed the same way. Hold it, kite it, whatever, negate the regen then slowly kill it. So why would it take 18 hours+? What if time is what locked the two hours? Every 2 hours players regain the use of their 2 hour. What if every 2 hours AV lost the ability to use one of his 2 hours? Then, after 30 hours ALL of his 2 hours would be locked. Well we don't need them all locked just certain ones, so it wouldn't take the full 30 hours.. but I digress. So what's the deal with the video? Well, are the developers gonna spend 30+ hours to make a 3 minute video for us? Hell no, but what if what they were trying to tell us is that these players were using all these 2 hours not because it was locking AV but because they wanted us to believe two hours had passed and now the players were using their two hours again because they were simply available? Now AV has been changed to depop after 2 hours. Have we seen a linkshell hold him till he depops? Have we seen if his behavior changes after being up for a considerable amount of time? If I am right then what SE has done to change AV (other than reduced hp) is lowered the amount of time it takes to lock those 2 hours. So maybe instead of 2 hours to lock a 2 hour it's 20 mins now or something. Here is the caveat. We can't just zombie him and leave him up unclaimed for an hour to see if this does anything. If a mob goes uncalimed and regens to 100% it's fair to say it resets their abilities too, so the timer to lock a two hour would presumably start all over. Any linkshell out there want to see how long you can hold or kite AV? Maybe for an hour to 90 minutes before trying to attack him...
    Holy fuck
