i never said anything about why the US started the war, what i gave my opinion about was the US's real motive in being involved in the war at all

and the reason i brought up the war never being passed by congress was to support my statement that the korean war was a political war and was not one that served any kind of public interest, just like most other wars the US got involved but never declared through congress
