He didn't mention the name in the first post most people asked and some made comments of how super noob this guy was for not naming names. The guy also didn't link the auction so I see nothing wrong with what he did. Just seeing how loaded not just with AH gear but rare/ex and the crafts is something amazing. I like seeing what players were able to accomplish in game.

More on topic: it makes me sad to see someone who obviously had their server community help out to obtain a lot of that gear turn around and potentially whore their char out to RMT (if RMT buy it.) Basically shits on everyone who helped the person get to where they were as that same pimped out character goes around farming 24/7.

I understand the some people want to cash out when they exit, but out of respect for other players people should just quit while they're ahead, and let their characters live on in fond memories as opposed to viewing them with disgust as those left behind stare at them across the way wearing a RMT pearl camping against those who helped the original owner. I'm probably being way too wishful in my thinking though...

My guess is that Chrysta would probably agree with that sentiment, but the $3000+ this account will sell for would make alot of people overlook that and opt to take the pay-day on their way out the door. Seems the case here anyways.

Axile (the guy you're referring to) farmed clusters, not crystals. He got around 200 merits doing it. He was also one of the first NA 75 (RNG and BLM), and involved in the origins of one of the most successful LS on the server. I'm sure he actually just rmt'd like $20,000 though, really.

Not necessarily IGE, but there's a whole lot of people who "trade" accounts around and stuff hoping to make something in the end.

The same time he/she spent on Chrysta could of been used made $50,000 (or possibly more) working at McDonalds.

If you want money you can get a fucking job. Basically this person fails at economy and life and I hope their account gets banned.
