Look, if you're in a somewhat successful HNM shell on a server where botting exists, there's an extremely high fucking chance that you're botting as well.

Or in a linkshell that has a widely spread group of people over the world who can at any given time usually supply around 10 people to camp regardless of how early or late etc it is in the US. Retard0clock in the US is like 9am for me so its no different than getting up to go to work (with a small lie in!)

Second point: I would say we WERE a very successful ls prior to the bot explosion mentioned a few posts up. We rarely claim now. It breaks down to you accusing anyone who claims ever as a bot again with added swearing to enhance your view. I know its hard but have some hmm looking for a word thats like faith (but not) in other people and dont assume that they do the same as every one else.

On Remora, there are 4 HNM shells, all NA. One JP shell still kicking; they occasionally do some Dominion camping. One EU shell that occasionally shows up in Aery.

Of the four NA shells, I could fairly accurately list who's running a bot and who isn't. The list would be fairly large :/ The shells with biggers lists tend to get more claims.

Btw, we've had 0 people banned since SE started launching their monthly bannings.

Unfortunately, I actually have to agree with Phrien on this one. There is a certain set of players who are after the best possible gear at all costs (those that HNMLSs appeal to). As it stands now, even with the occasional banning of a very well equipt character, the groups as a whole make much more progress with bots than without.

The only way that LS that bot will start making less progress than those that don't is if SE starts banning a lot more people, and not nessasarially just the people that are caught.

To be fair, a lot of people that most of the population looks up to for info came from a place with horrible competition. I remember an argument (about botting) between demetrios and rukenshin where deme basically took the stance beckwin is and ruke replied that it wasn't a necessity because for the better part of 2 years their shell was the only one capable of regularly killing whatever they wanted, leaving tiamat up for even a week+ just because they didn't feel like fighting it and no one else could. We come from a very different environment than a lot of other servers, you hear about 2-4 groups competing on most where we have, what now... 9? It's really slim pickings here :/

If skill determined competition, I'd be willing to guarentee that we could keep up with anyone else on our server, I'm that confident in my shell. However, ground is just something my shell doesn't want to put up with and I'd love to fight those mobs, but again noone is really interested in the Bs. I mean Phirien can vouch for me claiming over dozens of bots on day in Aery solo, but I couldn't convince anyone else to go lol.

A guy in my LS once claimed Serket while in the air even though there was a massive horde of gilfinder below undoubteddly waiting with their bots ready. He was falling through the floor, but still only halfway down, and somehow managed to provoke it in the air lol.
