Folks saying 'lol I have chatmon what do I need /tell chimes for?' will change their tune when the version update breaks their windower and it takes cliff/coz 3 weeks to fix it this time.

Loot incentive to kill new beastmen gods is hot. Now you'll have LSes camping key mobs to enter the throne rooms to camp them before window. I'd kill for an axe that looked like Gulool Ja Ja's monstrosity.

Seriously, I'd call it a manticore if those weren't already in game. Maybe it's related to that monster unofficially dubbed "Chimera", but I'm not sure on that since chimera seems to be a family of monsters (Laminas and Puks and a few other things) in FFXI instead of a specific monster.
