Any sign of a Yoichi's sash? I figured since people were getting Star Sapphires from this assault series, the sash would crop up among the drops, but I haven't heard anything that would affirm that.

Whats everyones strat for T2? We just went in with a mage heavy setup and got owned, thinking of doing mellee burn with pulling the NM fast and owning it, possible or not?

We killed a bunch of the crew and marines until the NM spawned. Then pulled that and beat it down with melee, it's weak and dosen't take long to kill. A couple mages stayed at the NPC and cure bombed. It's not foolproof though, because I guess the NPC was down to 5-10% a few times.

Anyways, ended up with a Reactive Shield, Turbo Charger, Hydra Scale, Diamond, and some 80k Velvet Cloth from ??? boxes for 5 runs on the third stage BC tonight.

0/7 total on the pants.

Beat the 3rd quest 2 times tonight and only got a Dynamo from the 2nd win. I hope Barbarossa hands drop from the 3rd quest like the pants do.

I switched (for hume males ) ridill in main hand and joyeuse in offhand with the kilij, alternatively when ridill is in offhand it's a darkstell kilij to match my personally modified maneater dat.

There's imps to tp on beforehand.

Chimp has high HP, Captain has high defence. TP burn or SC/MB is fine.

Yeah we won, crap drops but really doing this with 4 people like said before seems kinda unlikely. The chimp hits fast, the Captain takes forever to kill :/ easy to keep under control unless your straight up tanking

Yeah lol, it's best to nin tank the chimp, or have dd/nin, I unfortunately was an idiot and put on crow peices to help evasion tank, but all the -enmity ended up getting Aurik killed, my mercy's werent even turning the damn thing, so I sold it and removed my -enm merits too :\ Next time hate will be much easier to pull off other ppl.

Haven't had much trouble killing the chimp at all as WAR + MNK or WAR + THF. That captain though can fuck you up so fast. Managed to kill it the other day as WAR MNK WHM SMN straight up tanking. Tried killing it straight up again today and was flat on my face after 45 seconds.

problem was we had nobody with provoke, so he was getting interrupted alot while trying to recast utsu, since we have no voke I should be trying to be 50|50 on the hateline so if he gets hit it can turn, oh wells

Captain was less of a problem imo than the chimp, due to the fact the cap'n doesnt have spinning claw

I tanked the Captain pretty well on pld granted it was with a group of 5 and no refresher for me or the healer. Changed to Cor and had someone else come as nin and the Captain went to town on him... Next time gonna have the nin bring some dmg reduction gear.

Except when it starts the same "The order has been recieved to invade The Ashu Talif!" message. You can tractor inside the zone, and you get Talif Fireflies. I think it may very well classify.
