Ashu Talif assault things

its more than just clearing toau15, i tried to accept after i cleared it and couldnt, but after i did the cs missions after and went back i could accept it.

Yeah, a lsmate of mine found out that you had to be up to Passing Glory (mission 18 I think? whatever the cap on missions was before this patch) to get these quests. We did his Ashu Talif fight then had to wait for him to get his CSs back in whitegate and whatnot.

Has anyone noticed exactly how many mobs or how many waves you need to kill to win the first one. On our first attempt we kept killing wave after wave with no wipes but ran out of time. Second time we did wipe. We had nin, blu, blm, blm, sam, rdm. Thanks in advance.

I'm down to do this fight on asura, though I'm currently on the first fight of the series so far...just cleared the mission part last night.

Not surprising- the Empire has to hear about the Ashu Talif before they'd send you in to Assault it.

Got Cerberus Hide off a ??? Box from one of the BCs, cant really tell which since we did all 3 and appraised all three at same time, but a very nice surprise. 0/7 and counting on Haidate-1.

Lends to the theory that the Ashu Talif crew's had help getting rid of their leash that's a dog from the Trolls. Wonder if you can get claws, it'd make those Hades Saitini gentler to make. (And if so, whether or not they add anything to Cerb's drops in the process)

mission #1 is plenty of fun for a SMN.
when a fomors wave comes after you puller, have Diabolos Nightmare them or Fenrir use Dispel-ga and they would grab all hate on themselves letting your melee do the dirty work.
plus, you can even do things like Leviathan's Slowga + Tidal Wave if you feel the need, since 2hr are restored up to 2 times so it's about 6 wipe-ga for those evil ghosts. 8)

Yeah, really fun as a SMN. I used Thunderspark more than Nightmare, this just puts them all to 50% and your melees just have to finish them off, with an AoE weaponskill for example.

Wow, way to fuck one of the best things ToAU has offered to date.

edit: Ya know, I honestly don't know if I'll feel like even getting people together to do it anymore if it's just one total per day. Maybe if you can run through all three, but just one.. ugh. The best thing about was how fast you could get stuff done after you subtracted the gather people together time. Now, it takes the same time to round up a crew and gather at Ashu Talif, but you can only do it once... Fun per time spent went way down. I'm really dissapointed.
