ive gotten these from 3rd bc, they are actually appraised from ???gloves from a box in 3rd bc. So far only gotten 1 ??? gloves and thats all we've gotten from appraise.

Can you do the Lv3 BCNM if you haven't completed the Lv1 one, but going with someone who activated the Lv3 quest?

Not sure if the sentence made sence, but, does it work like a regular BCNM (aka you just follow the orb holder into the BCNM) or more like an Assault (aka everyone needs to be the right level)?

And do you need to be any Assault rank, on a certain mission in ToAU to be able to activate them?

You have to beat Ashu talif mission (and get cs after possibly).

Since you can flag all 3 independantly, I'm pretty sure you could join another BC since your isnt flagged

Mission required is Passing Glory. No Assault Rank involved. You cannot enter a BC if you didn't pay for it in Nashmau, so if you only have access to the first one you cannot go in the 3rd one even with someone that has it flagged. Pretty much like Assault, you can't go to a Sergeant Assault with a Sergeant person if you're PFC.

As for the 3rd BC, what we used to do with 4 is that i kited the captain around solo with Carby of Fenrir, just running around, while the others killed Bubbly, then just proceed to kill the captain. He is way easier to kite than his pet, so it seems better to kill Bubbly first. Setup was SMN (me) MNK BRD WHM.

We kited them but that was because we didn't know you could seperate the pull. Should be alot easier now that we know that. Personally I like kiting it sometimes because its easy for a war to get triple attacked and then the shit beat out of him, stick a grav and kite while nuking/ranging and its cake.

That was a comment from Waffik I think earlier in this thread, that Marton Knives were popping from the ??? Daggers more in Nashmau, but solid data is far fro available.

I'd find it ironic if the reason I get so many crappy Assault drops is doing them in Whitegate.

If I'd get better appraisals after a few assault runs by going to Nashmau to check the whole lot, guaranteed it'd be getting done.

got barbarosa's mits from 3rd assault. as previously mentioned a 3rd chest popped with unappraised gloves. we appraised in whitegate.

also got erik's axe from the sergeant rank mission where you have to save the appallku's again appraised in whitegate.

I don't think it makes a difference. The advantage to using the Qiqirn appraisal in Al Zahbi as opposed to Whitegate is the fact that he doesn't charge as much. Considering he can be captured by the invading forces, we need the more expensive one in Whitegate as a fallback.

It's a Free Warp Taru / Silver Warp Taru relationship.

The appraiser in Nashmau is there to keep people from bitching about having to go all the way back to Whitegate to appraise their items.

- Storm Gambieras
- Imperial Ring x 2
- Heims Earring x 4 (two of which came at the same time last night)
- Storm Ring
- Storm Shield
- Storm Scimitar
- Wamoura Axe
