debatable about losing hate, you can lose hate, he just cant walk back to home point. Thing is we were kiting him once and he gave the normal aggro message which was weird. Typically however, I flee him til he loses hate, then our blm kites after he lost hate on me so that he slows down. gives 3 chests ;o

From what everyone has said and that I've seen from doing this, you only need to pull the imps out onto the main deck while you kill them, hit the captain while he has his back turned (before bubbly can see you as well), and then just make sure that he doesn't make it back to the cabin once you start kiting him.

The imps spin and aggro? I never even paid attention, just walked in and casually pulled with Kurayami, and I've yet to mess it up.

and about the losing hate thing for third chest, I think I mighta left captain for too long thinking it was still chasing after me while nuking bubbly, so when we went back to kill it we got a diff msg again. It probably has to do with him regening to full hp since I didn't damage it and it walked backed a bit so long as he's damaged you should be fine.

This has been a pretty awesome weekend.

I finally got my pair of pants on saturday, bringing my static total to around 3/50s, and we also got the Barbarossa Moufles the next day, pretty much maxing our static on the item.

Maybe we can start spamming tier 2 for some C-hide now.

A small Video how our RDM pull the captain and loose hate but still get 3 Chest. We do this all the time and he only need to Surprise him and deal some dmg. When he hit for 0 or miss you only get 2 Chests. If you loose hate or not when you hit him the first time you get 3 Chests.

Our group so far.. I think 1/9, not sure when we started. 3/9 gloves too.

not really, for the amount of work SE puts us through to get these and the drop rate which sucks, it's meh to say the least. And it's not even a replacement for byakko/homam or CFG/kotes, 1 step down from them.

That's nice and all, but it's a fuckload easier to get this done than Omega/Byakko/Seiryu

Not all of us have LS that is actively doing sky and limbus, but I'm sure most have at least 3 competent friends that wouldnt mind using 1 hour of their night.
