New Aht Urghan Missions (Post your findings)

I lol'd.

Anyway, most exciting part for me was the mention of the Hazhalm Testing Grounds. Now that we know what those cages were used for, maybe somewhere down the line we'll get to fight more chimeras, hopefully Dynamis zerg style.

They mentioned mandragora in the cutscene being chimera... Didn't someone predict some kind of Mandragora King HNM a few months back here on BG? >.>

very short... mainly about an hour of cs and some travel time then the BC.

That khaimara was cool looking but another disappointing fight. we duo'd on nin/bard, then did it again with a rdm for them to complete it. We even tried to get behind it and flail it. Instead all we got was khaimaira ass swinging at us and missing.

At this point has anyone found anything past getting payment from Shantotto? Naja just keeps saying keeps saying crap about being worried about her taking the reward. I want my glory crown back, damnit.

I guess you didn't notice the 10 new assault missions.

Or the level 6 beseiged going on.

Or the new recipes to play with.

Or the new quests apart from the missions.

Or the new beastmen mobs to fight.

Or the new drops from the 3 beastmen gods.

But whatever, just jump on that bandwagon and say 'lolshortmissions' and pretend like that's all there is to this patch.

Not everyone participates in Assault/Besieged. I for one don't do Assault, and rarely participate in Besieged. I'm not high enough in a craft to synth anything new, so that's no good. Quests are not my thing, so another strike.

Counting what I can get from this update:

Too bad I can't stand playing FFXI anymore, these cutscenes are looking pretty damn spiffy. I would love to see Odin and Alexander in action. I'll probably have to end up reading the history of Vana'Diel site.

For people asking about how others held hate of Shantoto...she must have like -100 enmity. I walked in as NIN never voked and had hate 90% of the fight just meleeing.

Duo'd with WHM and NIN in 9 minutes.

Shantoto's comments are pretty funny throughout the fight.

edit: Got CS after fight with Naja, I'm on Foiled Ambition and waited for next game day, can't get another CS from Naja. Thought I've been following the guides pretty close, anyone help me out please?

can anyone tell or remember what all titles u get from each mission, the one i remember was Karababa bodyguard err something like that. reason why im asking is, i /c someone and saw a title ive never seen before and it has one of the npcs in the last cs name in it >.>

Karababa's Guide/Bodyguard/Secret Agent are the 3 I got.

Just finished that BC...once Karabara gets hit a few times she basically solo's the whole thing.

And somehow I intimidated the Khimaira as a WHM/BLM with no food or any killer effects gear. Wasn't engaged either.

Ya i missed all that, b/c i was busy talking about the TOA mission storylines which is what this thread was about!

I'm not taking the bandwagon, i'm stating the facts, b/c wow look at the storyline leaving us hanging for more....and like i said One night of content so far apparently. But congratulations on your joining the hey look at me being oh so quick to bash someone's point of view bandwagon before reading the topic thread post and realizing that just maybe this pertains to the mission storyline not the whole update.

I distinctly recall me bawling in tears and expressing extreme disatisfaction over everything that was released on this new patch. If you look real closely in the thread, it appears that is exactly what i said.

Yes. And I realize I'll have to clean the skull fragments off it when I finally snap on Naja, take her club, and slap her head through the nearest wall for doing so.

But seeing Shantotto mindfuck Naja repeatedly is good enough for now.
