    Some rngs pulled of 1000~ slugshots with flashy shots i need to get it lol >.> didnt care about it before becouse of the high recast time


    Byakko summoned toss 2 rng like this and they would duo him in 10sec lol (waaay less hp but same power as the real byakko~)

    Is that damage with or without a bard?

    If its with a bard or 2 bards..thats not higher than was easily reachable pre this patch

    Yes but he gains tp much faster as a result and does more DoT, because of the accuracy boost. And maybe one or 2 of those shots on Byakko doesn't land before this patch. It's not just about the black and white damage.

    its not about reaching it or not anymore its more like "how hard its to reach the cap" its not that hard now
    Plus the huge acc boost~+your pos wont effect your damage that much like before+can melee for faster tp

    Normally we do 4 RNG 2 BRD, Subs , 2 minuet 2prelude....750-850 slugs was the norm with hellfire+1 and silver bullets...also /WAR what was your sub?

    Unfortunately the damage varying on distance was the gay part..and random accuracy....

    If the accuracy alone improved on hard shit thats great...

    I guess back to days now when RNG is the DD Of choice for Fagnir? ;p RNG/WAR used to rock him hard.. still does kinda..but now it should be really nice damage again...

    RNG accuracy always seems higher than melee accuracy

    I wish all the people who keep saying how you could do that damage before the change with /war sub and the right gear would just stop posting already.

    Congrats, you were able to play a job and do damage in a way that negatively affected the rest of the group. Its great that you feel the need to constantly remind people of this now that people can play RNG the way it used to be played and get the same damage you were before.

    RNG/WAR vs Kirin...and RNG/WAR in EXP are 2 different things...I would never merit on RNG/WAR....unless I had like 5 PLs...

    I for one as I have not used my RNG since this patch am trying to compare pre-this patch....and post patch...so that I can see how much was gained.....or is trying to figure out what good changes they made somehow bad? Our basis of comparison is the pre-patch numbers....and the best ones damage wise were certainly /WAR...so lol

    I dont think people posting about pre update DMG are trying to claim that they "could do that damage before the change with /war sub and the right gear". Seems people such as minions are just trying to establish exactly what the update changed, and that is the subject of this topic.

    From what people have posted about HNMs such as Nid, KV, and kirin, it seems that ranged attack isnt really increased much on these HNMs, but that the use of sushi will allow for immensly increased acc. I know that was stated in the patch quite clearly, but these tests now prove that SE wasnt pulling another bullshit update like the "We're nerfing BLMS in this patch... "*tests show nothing of the sort*

    Tests also denote a sort of leinancy toward lower level RNGs, increasing their DMG and ACC signifigantly in exp, allowing them to sub nin and not "do damage in a way that negatively affected the rest of the group".

    Just got out of pt at mire 3rngs (2/war and 1 is /nin) nin rdm brd
    90min and got 33.200 EXP(with exp ring 1k if wanna count that) over 11k a half a hour with pick up random rngs

    I dont consider this getting raped by mnks-wars (specialy the norml ones no ridil - no black belt etc) lol
    Rng dont needs to be pimped out to do massive damage

    Unless mnks and wars do way more than 11k or something half a hour.....

    Heh, I'd take 3 Kclub/Ridill/Mkris RNG with Ebow/Hfire+1 against 3 BB MNKs or 3 Ridill WARs and see which kills faster, but honestly I'm leaning towards the 3 RNGs. NIN wouldn't even come close though. 2 BRD and RDM set-up like your typical TP Burn, RNGs get March/Mad/2x Minuet, MNK and WAR 2x March/2x Minuet.

    And Rag, you can get 20-25k per hour with Ridill WARs and BB MNKs, just need to worry about running out of mobs and losing chain.

    it wasnt competely empty only 1 other pt was there however they wasnt problem we always found unclaimed mobs so they didnt effected us but point remain not all rngs was pimped out to compare them with ridill wars and bb mnks

    Krakens and Ridills can change the damage output on alot of jobs, but when considering the damage output of the job as a whole, since items like those are not owned by the majority players, I usually don't take them into consideration... Kraken rng vs. BB mnk vs. Ridill war vs. Relic nin might be a bit different. I love to parse for fun as a relic nin on rag if anyone is interested...

    Well ya, that's obvious that not every player is going to have those items, but that's what parses always come down to, X Job is still not as good as a fully decked out Y Job. Everyone sets the bar high and just discounts anything less as somewhere below that.

    The difference is that those items drastically alter the job itself and the way they're played. Kikoku doesn't do that for NIN. Metsu is mediocre at best and although you have lower delay and higher main-hand damage, you're still using Jin as your WS without any substantial boost to your TP gain.

    Funny thing is in the camp you pull 20k/hr in, killing too fast actually kills your exp/hr.
