    I'm still laughing.

    So, you're saying that with inherent Martial Traits, Kick Attacks, and a 12% Haste Belt, you still out-tp them consistently with a tp reduced DW trait, and no multi-hitting weapon? (In reference to the rofl fracisca + hawkers knife > BB Mnk's tp gain).

    Also, WS shots show nothing, I'm fairly certain none of you know of a concept called DoT.

    Ya, few camps that can truly support an all out attack, maybe Bhaflau North if you pull all the Juriks as well as Mamools. A possibility tho given Sidewinder/Slugs more consistent damage, although shriek and windwall would still be annoying.

    DoT is nice and all, but honestly, with 3 RNG spamming Side/Slug, you don't need it. If the penalty to WS at melee RNG is as small as people are reporting, Side/Slug is going to do nearly as much if not more than the DoT+WS of a MNK or WAR and the RNG is going to TP faster to boot (especially with Kclub).

    If there's any risk of losing chain (due to a missed WS or a long pull), you have Barrage to make up any difference. In any case, I'll try and put something together this week maybe, I'm looking forward to playing RNG this way again, since for me, this was the original "TP Burn".

    Ranged attacks and melee attacks being on seperate timers is easily exploitable. You may not be going 1:1 in TP with a "perfect" decked out MNK, but I remember back in the day of pre-nerf RNG at least keeping very close pace with them.

    Im pretty sure before the first RNG nerf...that RNG was by far the best level 75 EXP pt dd assuming the RNG had a kraken or ridill...you could sub NIN and do insane damage......mnk have to sub nin and get their damage gimped in most PTs.../WAR vs /NIN tp gain for monk is very different.. loss of double attack fails..but for RNG/NIN with one of those multi-hit weapons...Double Attack dont mean anything..

    I use my RNG In dynamis a lot to KC and slug spam, this should be a lot more damaging now again

    I only have 4k buffer time to get a 20k/hour party on my RNG Can't wait for this weekend gonna be fun to pt on ranger again

    If this is any indication as to a RNG's performance in TAU EXP, earlier the other day I, (much to my dismay) found myself in a Troll PT. Now, I don't have any idea how much DMG pre update RNG DMG was on these, but sub nin post update, I was meeleing for ~60-90 with 85% ACC, with 95% Ranged Acc hitting for 130, 150, and 190 Acids respectivly. Highest slug was 1892 on a Hilltroll DRK, while the lowest was a 670 on a Hilltroll PLD. Hellfire DMG was disapointingly low. Can anyone with other jobs who have exp'd at Trolls, or RNG who have pre-update data post their findings so we can see how this update has effected ranged attack versus low level, high DEF mobs?

    Went to Caederva mire with Obow and a rng burn party and was really impressed.. These are all just normal, fransisca, selenes bow - obow rangers. Since acids stick, the damage output was really good. When it got too packed we went to bhauflau thickets and then exp started to drop.. With averagely equipped rangers, thickets kinda sucks...

    That is better than pre-patch damage from the sounds of it still. Trolls just blow if your looking for good numbers, I don't care what job you take up there. From my experience those are not "bad" numbers... Did you have a BRD (I never party without a BRD..)

    Edit: Not that fully anwsers your question, but from my RNG expereince due to how RNG attacks are calculated, RNG damage is normally better compared to say H2H on high DEF mobs. *Thinks about the days of Crabs...*

    I guess back to days now when RNG is the DD Of choice for Fagnir? ;p RNG/WAR used to rock him hard.. still does kinda..but now it should be really nice damage again...
    the dmg is improved, but still short of what it used to be. i hit a 713 sidewinder on faf yesterday using sushi and no flashy. this was /war, berserked, no brd.

    Thats pretty good, no other job really comes clsoe to those WS numbers on Faf without like SA or something or souleater...and with sushi you really dont miss faf much

    I've finally got into a Thickets PT earlier, and was pleased with the results. DMG was about the same as berserked DMG pre update (At point blank, of course). I was sub nin, we had a 74 BRD (no minu merits). Used meat. Lol brutal earring btw.

    Damn Glade`` I haven't seen numbers like the limbus screenshots in along time. I'm sure my LS rangers will be very excited to see numbers like that. Any specifics on how you did so much?

    Well with SE limbus, those mobs are extremly weak to piercing, just use a high DMG weapon sub war eat meat and have a brd. Nothing really out of the ordinary needed to deal high dmg on mobs that are very weak to piercing.

    Ive popped over 2k on Aura Statues that conned IT, RNG/WAR with a bard, O bow acid proc and dia II and meat after the first nerf....Im guessing it won't be that much higher now but at least now I could melee them while waiting for ulli
