Definitely more than I ever expected.

I got my first taste of the revamped RNG in a level 6 besieged last night, and was landing 700 slugshots from melee range on the NMs with mediocre gear and using sushi for food. The best part: I DIDN'T MISS A SINGLE SLUGSHOT, not one! My only normal shots I missed were from long distance where the mob had wandered out of normal shooting range before the shot went off. Accuracy was amazing, granted I was using Sushi.

Even got to fire off a couple of EES for 700 and 1100, the 1100 coming on a troll NM from a short distance.

I may actually get to use RNG for merit whore again instead of having to level WAR for that purpose. /joy

COR64/RNG32 atm, but standing a step or two outside melee I was hitting Colibri's for 103 and was hitting that fairly consistantly, whereas a few nights ago they were hitting in the same spot for 95-101. Slugs in the right spot were doing 650 or more compared to high 500-low 600s. Barrage at a comparable increase in dmg, in the right spot 400+ on a good one.

Hard to run and roll, and get back to that right spot though, I feel like I'm always adjusting...lol.

Not reet dmg in comparison to other melee jobs, but I seemed to be pulling hate more last night than before >.<;

Kriegsbeil jumped from 3.2 to 5 mil almost as soon as servers came back up. I am hoping it doesn't go up too much more before I snag one >.>

Anyone notice with all these changes and making us somewhat more powerful or going back to old styles I think SE is planning to bring something more powerful to the new expansion? Besieged last night was actually fun to have somewhat stacked Galkan Monk like HP.

I havent yet got the fortune to xp on my rng since the update. Sad face, but ive been meleeing on rng for 2yrs now. I got my ridill last year and never looked back. Ive always used meats, ridill/merc kris. Ive beaten ebody ridill wars. All except Nny(hes god nuff said) and BB mnk/nins in thickets and mire. Ive always said the job was never nerfed, it was the player that was. So now I hope all those noob rngs learned a lesson from the nerf. Stop gimping the job, try out different things and you can accomplish heights you never thought you couldve reached.

I'll ask one of my LSs RNGs with a Culverin+1 to bring it to sky farming today, hopefully a BRD comes too so we can give it a proper test on Decoes <.<

I'm not a ranger, but from what I have seen wouldn't he have seriously gimped himself meleeing and serious decrease in ranged attacks/WS damage. Guess he never saw the update where they nerfed noob-rangers. Did he get the memo.

Dont get emo on me baby, all I was stating was my gear setup and what I used in xp. Every rng in my ls who doesnt have ridill or kris, still meleed and shot, unlike the sweet spot standers that just shoot and come up 10% on parser. I use all acc and meats on jailors with /nin and acc + rng att gear /war or /sam kirin when we kited. I've never abandoned like so many of our friends we know, all I did was strive to make a bad situation better and not cry about it.

Still waiting to see the 3.5k slugs to flys in the mire. I want to believe it's true I really do! Havent touched my rng in quite some time and am looking for motivation to suit up with all that gear I never sold and put it to use.

Saw 4k+ sidewinders last night in an Xp party next to me. I had to take off filters to see what kind of damage he was doing. But that was from Relic bow with Relic horn, it was nuts.

Haha, I remember they day when I use to say "I will trade my 75 RNG in for a stack of sole sushi" lets see if I still feel that way.
