Lol, thanks Sonomaa =)
8/10 for Situps and she flunked me :\
Do you have to clear all 10 or 9 or just beat Naja til she ranks you up![]()
I messed up on just one situp(the first one) and she passed me.
Just make sure all their elbows are compleatly out before you hit enter.
Lol won after 8 fails XD with the rank up quest
I still dunno how i won honestly XD
ok gonna try it again in 45, thx muchos XDOriginally Posted by Devek
Ok I'm seriously confused, just nailed 9/10 I got a different CS (probably the one you got) and she says to come back tomorrow again.
What's the deal now?
There are 3 parts to the rank up quest, not two
Did anyone figure out how to win Leujaoam Sanctum? My group has lost 3 times now. Last 2 times we did it we killed atleast 6+ imps and only got 1 supply out of both runs. One of the imps we were killing was claimed by us first and we got it to 3% w/o any immortal on it. Then one comes and pokes it once but I still got kill shot yet he gets the supply. Really annoying...
yea 0/1 now on rank up (for reference the 3rd part is the 3 noobs running across Balharan Way)
Seems you can only encourage each person once or something like that, I encouraged a guy early on and he sped up then eventually fell behind and I lost.
Anyone who has won it care to share their findings? At this rate im gonna be doing this until the afternoon
You can encourage each person as many times as you want as long as they're lagging far enough behind so that when you blow the whistle at them, it actually blows the whistle rather than making that weird noise that you get when you time the sit up signal incorrectly.
Attempt #2 @ 20 minutes, gonna try this tactic, I'm ready to go insane with this rank up. Being in the first crowd to cross this finish line certainly has its disadvantagesOriginally Posted by zymurgy
Edit: Lost attempt #2 by like seriously half a second, blew the whistle for guy to catch up right at the finish line, had it easy and BOOM.
Dicking around for an hour then going again.
Edit #2: 0/4 wow I suck
Edit #3: 1/6 *cracks a beer* I deserve this.

So, that's hot. We failed this one twice (as NIN BST RDM); we're going back to see what happens on Friday when we have 4 tags again. Since the imps show up on wide scan, I'll try to screenshot that in case it helps people out.- An issue has been resolved where the "Supplies Recovery" assault would fail despite fulfilling the conditions required for success.
I feel sorry for the JP. Imagine, with as many characters as the JP have, how many squees and quarks must make up each of their letters in JP morse code.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
We tried this twice last night with 5 with no success. We used the "run to the other side of the map" strat, still didn't work. Here's what we saw:Originally Posted by Kanos
The immortals appear to get a package every time they kill an imp. At the very least, they certainly got one every time they killed one and we were around. Hard to tell if they did when we weren't around.
If you are both fighting the same imp, they got the package every time, even if they only showed up with 10% left and we still got the killshot. Very infuriating.
The immortals can run up cliff ledges, they also don't seem to get hung up on the game architecture hang ups that Leujoam Sanctum-Ordelle's Caves seem to have.
I read a strategy on Alla to have someone voke and kite the first one they are fighting to try and stall them from killing it while the rest of the party kills everything else. Anyone had any luck with this strat? Or any other suggestions? We left this Assault with a very bad taste in our mouths, and I would like to beat it at some point just to feel redeemed.
We had a person kite the mob the immortals are fighting and we won easily. The immortals run at flee speed and will still kill a few imps like this, but it does slow them down considerably.
That's what my static did (actually it was an accident, since the imp at the entrance aggro'ed me while I (RDM) was running away), and they managed to kill 6 Imps while the Immortals got 3.Originally Posted by Byrd
It's easy to grab the hate, usually Sleep II would be enough to stick the mob on me, and they are easy to kite with Gravity.
I'd also recommend starting on the north platform (the one which looks over the main room), that way you might even be able to pull one of the Imp down there, before working your way back to the entrance.
noone answered :/ is there a way to that room in G-8 past the bridge? we went to every angle possible before running out of time, all stairs, nooks and crannies? seriously wtf (a 2nd time now)Originally Posted by Koyangi
We never managed to get across the bridge, but beat Periqia on our second try. We concluded that we had simply missed a chigoe in a hallway or room the first time. If they really did spawn up there, that would be pretty lame.
Here's the wide scan of the LS one:

The NIN and BST (me) went ahead to where you can see my marker, and had the RDM activate the immortals. We pulled one from the open area to clear the way for the RDM, then just went around the loop to the west. We got chain 5 and 3 supplies, and never saw the immortals, who only got 1 supply and killed the other 4 imps. We didn't get the win message until they had finished the last imp, so killing 6 is definitely not an automatic win condition; you have to get more supplies than them.
One of the times we lost (pre-patch), we claimed an imp, an immortal ran up and touched it, we killed it with WS, and he got the supply. So I'm guessing trying to stay away from them is a good bet. Other than that, and luck on drops, I'm not sure of any further strategy.
any tips for illrusi atoll? the akapullo one?
we seem to be able to capture them fairly reliably but within a seconds they run away without even really seeing us
we almost got one to the NPC but it "ran away" even tho our smn was clearly behind him
