This reminds me, I've seen/heard of RDM/NIN's solo'ing this. (I think it's through dots, dagger, and en-spell effects? I'm not really sure, I don't solo with RDM.

But on wiki, it says a skilled PLD/RDM can kill VV? I was interested if anyones tried it as PLD/RDM? I'd like to try to solo it this way. I'm just not sure about how hard/frequently it hits, and if I'm gonna have to keep myself lined with certain meds to be kept alive.

Some Taru on Ragnarok called Kuick had a video of him soloing Vivian as PLD/RDM up on Stage6 ages ago. She's not really that difficult to solo if you can get her into position - NIN can do it as well I believe.

Her accuracy is atrocious, I wouldn't be incredibly surprised if Thief and Samurai could as well.

THF would need an unholy amount of meds, gonna say SAM is impossible, not particularly difficult on nin/dnc with just remedies and decent gear

I would think that bolts/ridiculous evasion would make it a bit less rocky for Thief(though they would still obviously require meds), and that a SAM/DNC using Seigen full-time with a good damage reduction set wouldn't have that much trouble.

I think with SAM/DNC she might get TP a bit too fast for them to keep up if they get unlucky. Getting your TP drained would be pretty bad too, I'd imagine.

Unclaimed DI's and sandworms are no surprise. I mean, no one knows where they will spawn each window. I think there's a 100% chance that several ls's had ppl in the zone scanning for it though!

Which is why you have a bunch of RNGs out Wide Scanning for him. Not uncommon to see six + RNG per zone out looking for it between the various linkshells.
