I believe it consumes your TP to lessen the damage from Everyone's Grudge/Rancor.

iirc from what i read, it's a % reduction on EG, consuming TP as stated. the formula for it from what i read was BaseGrudgeDamage*(1-(CurrentTP/300)). useful if you have some reason to not clear hate and you DESPERATELY need to avoid that fatal rancor, but outside of that and being a fashion item, i don't know of any good use. then again, all the dozens of doubletakes you'll get from people might be an entertaining enough reason to bother getting it. ^^

I don't consider myself lucky, except for the 10th kill... my homeboy goes makes a haubergeon+1 @ 66 smithing,, his first fuckin synth ever, and goes 1/2 on hauberk+1 at 89 smithing..... the fuck is this shit.

THF in my LS 0/100+ for Dagger. Somewhere around 8 or so gloves dropped during that time. Poor guy used to live in the Chasm, but I think he gave up hope a while ago.

Honestly, I wouldn't even mind the hat some times.... I've seen about 1/30 dagger, 2/30 kote, and maybe 6/30 hat. Sooooooooooooooo many no drops, it's disgusting. Even though hat is worthless, can at least NPC it for some money!

We have gone 3/4 on Kote this week off Xolotl and I've seen Kote drop around 20 times out of the 30 or so I have killed it >.> I went 1/1 on my Kote. Knife on the other hand doesn't exist for our THFs ;; They are running out of MNK SAM and NINs needing Kote who will come help :/

yah, rdm/nin and pld/nin duo tanking. ally got like 2 corse and 2 eles at once. not enough blm or smn power to take them out and kiters were lacking for them as well.

was their first time actually taking timmy down below 90%, wiped at like 5%, regathered and brought more smn out.

well, they weren't the first to claim. another ls claimed and held for like 30minutes or so w/o taking timmy below 100% (by "held" i mean they were trying to DD it, but failing). they wiped, this ls claimed. did fairly well, though the rdm/nin was tanking most of the time.

i went to sleep, woke up 1.5 hours later or so and timmy was at ~10%. nighttime comes along and 2 corses get on main ally. not a big deal until one tank gets charmed (rdm/nin if i remember). then an ele agros and they wipe pretty hardcore once timmy starts flying again.

but they did regather in about 30-45 minutes to try again and took it down. think they've killed 3 tiamats now? honestly can't remember.

i have pics of unclaimed Khimaira on my laptop, just never ported them over here, also the "lolkhim" factor. fafhogg and KB are almost never unclaimed, even after maint. ls's logout there in hopes of claiming. last few maint faf has popped first window which makes for some nice fun.
