Nope, never zoned. After the first time, I made sure I had the quest on.(I did >_>)

From what I can see, if your main job has no mp, you get the hp, if your main job has mp, you get the mp.

Got HP on SMN, so nope.

By the way you can't send these lanterns through the mail. The easter eggs were r/x but still mailable.

Was able to get a pitchfork by forming a 2 man party of shade and dog and standing under the bombs near the guild in north sandy.

Still working on getting a +1, hope I didn't spoil anything by releasing this lil secret .

Been working with Mazithra on Unicorn as well, they deserve the credit too!

(If anyone figures out +1 please let us know, last years combos dont work)

Ninja Edit: Shade and Skeleton in Bastok Mines at bombs next to AH works as well... but you get pumpkin for redoing quest.

To get the +1 last year, we'd both get a gobbie costume and stand under the lanterns. You couldn't get the Gobbie costume while in your home nation. And when travelling abroad, it would depend on your nation of allegiance.

And example: If you were Bastokan, travelling in Sandy. Find the npc that turns people into Quadav, have that npc give you costume, and instead you'd be turned into a Gobbie.

It's how we did it last year, but S-E has been making minor tweaks to this event every year it is out, so there's no guarantee the method still works.

EDIT: The Coven hat latent works based on lvl of your job. If you are an Odd-leveled job, the HP part of latent will be active. If you are an Even-leveled job, the MP part of latent will be active.

Can someone please check elemental strenght and mogenhancement from the 3 lamps? (and if they are different?)
My moghouse is too full to take all other furniture and mannequins out to do the test. The element is fire, so the mogenhancement might just be mogenhancement:fire, but sometimes they put weird ones in event furniture like gardening or things like that. It would be interesting to know
