I wonder why....Oh how I wish you could see that kind of behavior on Asura.
Has any one figured out what the Synthesis materials dropped from Medusa are used for?
Does make you wonder how much you'd get Mugging the thing. Pocket lint, maybe?Originally Posted by Swatt

The other beastmen king's corresponding drops are:
Ja Ja's Chestplate
Gurfurlur's Helmet
We killed Ja Ja after patch and got Volunteer's Ring + Chestplate, no clue yet what can be done with the chestplate.
My bad, missed that one. One more reason to do the Ashu Talif assaults, the amount of different stuff that seems to be able to drop there is surprisingly large.Originally Posted by Foustian
Edit: Bets on the King (Queen) drop items being desynthable into rare materials, like much of the unwearable item drops?
Its funny BRP's chart had things dropping off of the current beastmen kings that were traded to allow entrance into a BC that led to the 3 Kings dropping 3 King type loot. These drops could be trade and pop types like the stones in sky or virtues in sea or they could be like cloud evokers. They could also be traded to a NPC for something like the sins that drop from AV are. Maybe its just wishful thinking on my part that these drops would turn out to be more than just crafting materials.
Try desynthing it, lol. Other obvious thing would be trading it to the gate guard.Originally Posted by Asherek

Could scan DATs and see if Gate Guards have any suspicious dialog. Maybe you have to trade all 3 at once lol.
Trade all 3 to an Ebon Panel to lock post-patch AV.
Well, i guess desynthesis would be the trick, or maybe there's a new NPC somewhere that would take them. Or some Carb Meat-like thing that will be useful in 6 months.
No one has tried to desynth them yet?
Get someone with a mule with 0 skill in all crafts and try it with all 8 crystals. If they can be desynthed you would get a "skill too low" message.

There has to be a use for it though. The AH wouldn't have a history of them selling for > 1m forever then.
Nidhogg scales do absolutely nothing.Originally Posted by inafume
It's probably best it stays that way. Theres enough people at fafhogg w/o some ultra amazing new body armor made from the scales.
Yeah but as he said, people still buy them regularly for more than 1 million.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
