We have a guy (bot?) named Hoo on our server who does something similar. He will go through and lowball bigger items and try to get mid level items items cheap (eg: 100g Wyv Skins, 1k stack of SO, etc).

As it stands now looks like he got Animal Glue, Mercury and Slime Oil for 100g each and purchased Absorb-INT for 1000g to NPC for more.

Go to Mt Zhayolm staging point, then go past Cerberus to the Halvung entrance in the far northwest of the map. then exit back into Mount Zhayolm where the Dahaks are. Walk ALLLLL the way around to the southern tip of that map, past the King Apkallus and go north in the tunnel at the end which puts you in Halvung again. Then go past all the true sight trolls, past where Big Bomb spawns, and finally that's where Gurfurlur is.

Six person lever, then a large room with a stone catwalk over magma. Walk up that and you'll see the three key door. There's half a dozen or less trolls in the way.

drop rates are insanely high, you can get them all on the way ... just make sure you grab a shakudo key.

How did you guys deal with pleiades ray? Because it fucking owned us last night. We were doing decent on it until he busted that out at 20%, then between all the status effects and whms low on mp, we bit it hard.

Don't really know how the rest of the people did but one remedy took care of everything but virus and the para never proc'd off the 4 rays that he did so best advice, don't be cheap.

That and have people take the adds who won't need much healing, we used rdm/nins to just hold them lets other people focus on their jobs ;x

Been trying to track down info on this as well. It's too early for anything to be really found out and as fas as I can tell these items are literally worthless until SE creates something that they would be able to be used for.

All in all it was a fun as hell fight. Trip was a pain in the ass but the end result of fighting something unique like that made the trip more then worth it.

Some questions on Gurfurlur in Halvung:

- What, specifically, does Pleiades Ray do?
- Are the elite guards immune to sleep? Slow? Bind? Gravity? Will they respawn when killed?
- Would those happen to be PLD/WARs in Ryko's screenshot? Would NIN/WAR with -% damage gear work better?
