Path to Medusa

how do you reach Medusa?

In Arrapago Reef i came across the Tidal gate. I’m thinking you need to trade a Lamie Fang key and 2 other keys to the gate to reach Medusa. When clicking the gate it asks for Claw Fang and Bone.

Can any one confirm what monsters drop which keys and is this in fact the way to reach Medusa?

Lamian Fang Key, Lamian Claw Key, Lamian Bone Key, trade to the red tidal gate past the IT Nix Songstresses.

Lamia Idolaters INSIDE Arrapago Reef drop the Bone Key, it's a really rare drop. The others are common drops off of Lamia in the area.

red tidal gate or purple tidal gate? Theres no red tidal gate on ffxi-atlas.

ffxi-atlas.com doesn't have it marked. It's the border of (H-5) / (H-6) in the off-the-map area of the 3rd map from the top, accessed from the little island SE of that area (Think that's the same place that the Evoker's Gages NM is, btw).

i don't know if they fixed it but a trick will let you not have to get the last key. you can just die close to the door and have someone run into one of the corners of the door, and tractor you. when loading the door glitches and you can just run around it. i'll dig up a SS for you

can just walk around it or tractor through the door, it might have been fixed so before you base your whole fight on this, have a few people run there and test it out.
