I was really disappointed with the art book. The FF9 artbook had like all these really great pictures of conceptual artwork of the areas, plus their final copies, and it was just awesome.

The FF12 one is just the picture we've already seen (like Vaan in the city, and Baltheir and Fran on the bike) and the normal espers and weapons.

Def. not 30$.

also i got the balthier cover for the strat guide.. which looks the best imo ;>

also gil is pretty easy to make in this game... spend some time leveling up and you'll get alot of stuff to sell, unlike FF11, stuff actually sells for a decent amount, and drops are very frequent... also the benefits of that open up bazaar items.. and there are some pretty good stuff to buy there

It's a single player FF, it was always easy to make gil in them. I just went back to max FFX a few months ago, and made 3mil+ in 30 minutes of work. Funniest thing about it was that I didn't even need the money. I mean common.

I just popped in the Coll. DVD for shits and giggles and went immediately to the art section. Fuckers put the shit I wanted IN THE ARTBOOK, on the DVD...but atleast I got to see what I wanted to see: conceptual artwork for the game.

That makes the coll .edition worth it for me. Wish I didn't waste my money on the coll. guide for the p.o.s. artbook though.

edit: After looking through all of the artwork on the DVD, besides some of the conceptual stuff, it was everything in the artbook translated into DVD slideshow format. Meh :\

Crap, I got the collectors edition guide and normal game hopin' for some nifty artwork in the artbook. Shoulda gotten the normal guide and the CE game :/
